Zorin Blitz is a major antagonist in the manga and OVA series Hellsing. She is an officer and one of the top officials of Millennium, and she serves as one of the commanders of the Letze Bataillon. She was sent to attack the Hellsing Manor and dispatch Seras Victoria, though her overconfidence caused her and her soldiers to be killed by Seras.
Zorin was voiced by Yōko Sōmi in the Japanese version and by Helena Taylor in OVA 4 and Rachel Robinson in OVA 5-7 in the English-dubbed version.
What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]
- Disobeys the Major's orders, initiating a direct assault on the Hellsing Manor instead of waiting for reinforcements to arrive out of arrogance, which causes her Zepplin to be destroyed and most of her soldiers killed in the ensuing destruction.
- She shows no care for her soldiers or guilt for their deaths, which she's directly responsible for due to her recklessness.
- Leads the assault on the Hellsing Manor, ordering her men to kill all of the soldiers of Hellsing.
- She uses her illusions to cast a giant version of herself, which attacks the Hellsing Manor, causing the Hellsing mercenaries to experience the grueling pain of having their limbs torn apart.
- Inside the Hellsing Manor, she sadistically uses her powers to show one of the Hellsing mercenaries an illusion of her dead daughter to taunt him before mocking him and killing him with her scythe.
- When given the option to charge into the room where the Hellsing mercenaries were holed up, Zorin instead orders her men to "soften them up" to inflict greater pain on them.
- When she encounters Seras, Zorin tortures her by making her relive the memory of when her parents were killed by criminals and her mother's corpse was raped by them.
- Instead of simply killing Seras quickly when she is vulnerable, Zorin brutally mutilates her by cutting her arm off, stabbing her in the back, and slicing away her eyes, all out of pure sadism.
- Kills Pip Bernadotte as he is trying to flee with Seras by stabbing him with her scythe.
- When Zorin sees Seras crying and holding the corpse of Pip, the man whom Seras loves, Zorin mocks Pip by calling him a "bug" that she squashed, preparing to kill Seras and the remaining soldiers while deriding them as "bugs" as well.
- Unlike many other millenium members whose crimes are under the Major's order, Zorin stands out for her own cruelty towards her victims, committing horrific crimes with lower resources than her what her higher-ups have, as well as lots of personal villainy to Seras and Pip, therefore she easily passes the in-story heinous standard.
