Yog (in Japanese: ヨグ, Yogu) is the main antagonist in the 1970 Toho film Space Amoeba. It is an enigmatic alien amoeba that came from space and seeks to make the world fall into its possession.

What Makes It Pure Evil[]
- It possesses an innocent squid, two crabs, and matamata to do its bidding.
- As Gezora, it terrorizes resort workers, leaving the sole survivor traumatized.
- It destroys a village, killing many locals.
- As Gezora suffers immense pain after being burned, Yog abandons it to die.
- As Ganimes, it targets the survivors of Gezora's attacks.
- Before possessing Makoto Obato, it explains to him that it seeks to make the entire world fall under its control.
- As Obata, he exterminates a chunk of the local bat population so their echolocation won't weaken its control over its hosts.
- As a second Ganimes and Komebas, it attempts to kill the survivors so they won't interfere with its world-dominating plans.
