Yeom Ki-tae (in Korean: 염기태, Yeom Ki-tae) is a minor antagonist in Voice 2: Generation of Disgust.
He is a child rapist imprisoned in prison for raping Hwang Hee-joo in the past. He is a criminal who seeks revenge on Hwang Hee-joo by pretending to be self-absorbed and wearing electronic anklets after coming out of prison.
He was portrayed by Yeon Je-wook.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He raped Hwang Hee-ju, who was a child in the past, as a result of which Hwang Hee-ju suffered lifelong PTSD and her family suffered from him.
- Out of revenge on Hwang Hee-joo, he initially tried to rape Hwang Hee-joo again, but when Hwang Hee-joo was no longer a child, he was no longer attracted to her. He then pretends to be remorseful in front of Hwang Hee-joo's father, approaches her younger brother, Hwang Ji-wook, and becomes a secret friend. Then he raped Hwang Ji-wook and planned to get revenge on Hwang Hee-joo.
- Disguised as a clown, he kidnapped Hwang Ji-wook on his way home from kindergarten, and then he saw another girl and implied that after he raped Hwang Ji-wook, he would rape that girl.
- Seeing Hwang Ji-wook trembling with fear at himself, he was delighted, dressed Hwang Ji-wook like a woman, said that the lady had to have clean hands and feet, cut his nails with a nail clipper, and tried to rape him.
- He threatened Do Kang-woo with a knife when he threatened to be caught by Do Kang-woo.
- As Ki-tae was being arrested by the police, he showed no remorse for his actions, making detective Park Joong-ki very infuriated.
- Despite the series' high heinous standards, Ki-tae still stands out despite his few resources because he committed child rape that no other criminal in the Voice franchise has ever committed.
Trivia[]
- He, alongside Masayuki Kaneki, Hwang Kyung-il, and Mo Tae Gu, is one of the only four Voice Series villains to be Pure Evils. And he is the only Pure Evil among the minor antagonists. Although the Voice franchise's heinous standards are high, he counts as Pure Evil for committing child rape, a crime no other criminal has ever committed.
- Voice franchise shows the worst personalities of all kinds of criminals, but Ki-tae shows the worst of them all. He's gratified his pleasure by raping children, and because child rape is considered by many to be a way too worse crime in his work, he is considered one of the darkest criminals in the Voice franchise.
