The nameless older brother of Gaku Yashiro is the overarching antagonist of the manga ERASED. He was the abusive brother of Gaku Yashiro who mistreated Gaku as a child and is the reason why he is the serial killer he is today.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?

• He would constantly beat his brother Gaku (sometimes he would beat him to a pulp) and while his father knew about it, he didn't do anything out of fear of his own son.
• He convinced Gaku to become his accomplice by having him manipulate girls for him to rape and/or molest, and when he failed the first time, he beat him up.
• While he would sometimes praise his brother and give him some juice to drink, this was out of pragmaticism since he wanted to keep him on his side and to make sure that he won't sell him out.
• After Gaku's successful second attempt to lure a girl for his brother to rape, the brother would rape one girl every month while Gaku would convince them not to tell anyone what happened, this presumably happened for several years.
• One day, after he heard his mother talking with someone, Gaku's brother covered the girl he had raped to make sure their mother wouldn't hear her screams, only to accidently kill her.
  • While he was visibly shocked when he found out she died, this wasn't out of remorse but rather fear of the possibility that he may get arrested.
• He beat Gaku after he failed to keep watch and nearly caused his mother to find out about his actions.
• To cover his crime of murdering the girl since the rumors were spreading, Gaku's brother tried to incriminate him to avoid getting caught, but Gaku kills him and makes his death look like a suicide.
• While his death might make him a scapegoat, it isn't cause he deserved it for ruining Gaku's life and kickstarting the series.
• Despite being a one time character, his actions are the main reason why Gaku would become a serial killer and a monster just like him, due to his abuse and mistreatment. Hence, he is responsible for instigating the events of ERASED, thus making him the most evil character in the series.

• It's unknown if his Netflix adaptation version would be Pure Evil.
