Winston The White Weasel, or just Winston (also known as Noroi in the Japanese version) is the main antagonist of the 2015 Japanese computer-animated film Gamba: Gamba to Nakama-tachi (or Air Bound in the English version), which is based on the 1972 novel The Adventurers: Gamba and his Fifteen Companions by Atsuo Saitō. He is the evil and manipulative leader of an army of weasels whose goal is to oppress the mice and worse yet.
He was voiced by Mansai Nomura in the Japanese version, while in the English dub, he was voiced by Jon Lovitz.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He tries to trick the mice with a phony peace offering, planning to have his followers lure the mice to the water so that he can tear the mice apart.
- A mouse named Clarence tries to create a diversion by swimming over to the mice, but Winston has one of his men drown Clarence.
- When forced under the water, he tries to take Gavin with him.
- Although he is a predator needing to survive, Winston does what he does more because he finds it fun than out of necessity.
- His admission to having not had this much fun playing with his food since he was a child indicates that he already had murderous tendencies even at a young age.
- He cares nothing for his men either, blowing off the death of one of them and being impressed that a mouse managed to kill a weasel (not that it changes his view on the mice merely being food).
