Dr. Wilma Sledkin is the secondary antagonist of Dragons: The Nine Realms.

She was a scientist at ICARIS and the rival of Dr. Olivia Kullersen and the arch-rival of her son Tom Kullersen. She prioritizes Rakke Corp's profit first, over the lives of others as well. After learning about the existence of dragons, she stole dragonsite for her personal gain before being reprimanded for her crimes, later working alone and turning insane before that very insanity and desire to gain profit leads to her demise.

She was voiced by Carrie Keranen.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]

  • She felt jealous of Olivia Kullersen for her successes and made attempts to oppose and undermine her and steal credit for her achievements.
  • At multiple incidents, Sledkin prioritized the interests of Rakke Corp (and her own), over the lives of others.
  • She was loyal to Rakke Corp, but only for the sake of personal benefit.
  • She intended to use and experiment on Glowmer for personal benefit.
  • She tranquilized Thunder, accidentally causing a blackout in ICARIS in the process.
  • She had a dismissive and abusive attitude towards her assistant Linda, despite her loyalty.
  • She only felt disdain for dragons.
  • Upon learning about the Hidden World, Sledkin illegally mined dragonsite for selfish reasons, causing multiple dragons to act aggressively and wreck havoc in the Hidden World and ICARIS.
  • She tricked and manipulated Jun into giving her a tour of the Hidden World, for the sake of her plans.
  • When she noticed that Terrible Terrors can seemingly bond with dragonsite, she captured some for unethical experimentation, forcing the riders and May Wong to intervene.
  • Even after being told by Director Wong to cease her amoral actions, Sledkin continued to sneak inside the Hidden World and mine dragonsite for personal gain, even making a secret tunnel to do so.
  • She used explosives in the Hidden World to mine more dragonsite, not caring that her actions were harmful to dragons, even after a Cavern Crasher was injured by her explosives.
  • After she accidentally buried the Dragon Club, she initially felt remorseful and tried to save them, but then quickly got over it and decided to deny her fault and leave the riders and their dragons to die.
  • After her misdeeds were exposed, Sledkin stole a van and escaped. She went rogue and continued to illegally mine dragonsite, without caring about the consequences of her actions.
  • She didn't stop her illegal activities, even after she inadvertently endangered herself, Linda and the dragon riders when she blew a way into the Desert Realm where they were attacked by a Glass Caster.
  • Although she agreed to temporarily work with the Dragon Club in the Desert Realm, Sledkin did so solely for the sake of self-preservation and escaped before the riders could apprehend her.
  • Out of pragmatism, Sledkin made an alliance with Leonard "Buzzsaw" Burne and they became a combined threat to the Dragon Club and the Hidden World.
  • She was completely willing to resort to violence whenever the Dragon Club tried to stop her.
  • She agreed to translate the Book of Dragons for Buzzsaw, not caring about what the poacher would do with its knowledge and wishing to use it for her own purposes.
  • She was disdainful towards Buzzsaw, prioritizing her own interests and not caring about his.
  • Sledkin helped Buzzsaw to find Jörmungandr, thus making her indirectly responsible for its release and subsequent genocidal rampage throughout the Nine Realms.
  • After becoming obsessed, she captured Plowhorn and enslaved her with harsh punishments just to get to the Gods Realm, in order to steal the Dragonsite Gem, the primary source of oxygen for the Hidden World.
  • In her secret lab, she made a trap by rigging her elevator so that if the Dragon Club entered her base, it will kill them and she will be able to claim it was just an accident.
    • This proves further that she had fully gotten over her remorse of accidentally trapping the members of the Dragon Club and their dragons under some rocks and proves she would kill them if they got in her way.
  • She tried to steal the Dragonsite Gem and hurt the dragons who got in her way. As a result of her actions, the oxygen level in the Hidden World started to decline, endangering the lives of everyone inside the Nine Realms, including the dragon riders.
  • She knew that stealing the Dragonsite Gem would mean destroying the Nine Realms, but didn't care, completely willing to let the Hidden World and all dragons die, for the sake of her own benefit.
  • In her final moments, Sledkin tried to get the Dragonsite Gem and, despite Tom's attempt to save her, fell to her death, due to prioritizing her greed, over her own life. Although her demise was her own fault, the dragon riders, especially Tom, still felt awful about it, despite her crimes.
  • Her actions were one of the major reasons behind Thunder's decision to separate humans and dragons again, just like the late Grimmel the Grisly so much desired, to ensure the safety of the Nine Realms.
