Welcome to paradise. A safe and pure land! Rescued from a desolate jungle of terrible beasts! Rescued from the treetops you cower in! Rescued... By WONKA! And like a fish clings to water! Or a bird to the skies! You, Oompa Loompa ARE MINE. Nothing less! And nothing more. And there is no dream sweeter than that... We're there.
~ Wonka brainwashing Lofti and the other Oompa Loompas into becoming his slaves.
Feel the river's flow... The hurricane's blow... Hellfire's glow... Hold it close... And let it all... Go.
~ Wonka before Lofti drops his baby.

Willy Wonka is the main antagonist of the short animated film Willy Wonka Makes an Oompa Loompa by Avocado Animations. Here, Wonka is interpreted as the cruel conqueror of the Oompa Loompas being responsible for Lofti's plight as well.

He is voiced by Avocado Animations.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • He is the darkest and most evil interpretation of the Amazing Chocolatier who is reimagined as a morally bankrupt colonialist who first arrives to Loompa Land under the guise of being a friendly man before the events of the 1971 film. He freely gives the natives candy to earn their trust, but when Lofti suggests to a village elder (presumably the chief) not to shake Wonka's hand, Wonka retaliates by massacring several of the natives in gory ways. However, it is speculated that he might have carried out the massacre even if the old man did shake his hand. Regardless, it leads to hundreds of the natives slaughtered including Lofti's beloved wife and unborn child.
    • Although Wonka seemed upset when the old man didn't shake his hand, it was most likely just because it caused him unnecessary inconvenience.
  • Any native who was not killed gets abducted by Wonka and taken through the tunnel featured in the 1971 film. Here, the tunnel is reinterpreted as being a method of brainwashing that Wonka uses to psychologically break several of the natives.
  • He appears to take relish in psychologically destroying the natives evidenced by him chuckling over Lofti's psychological breakdown whilst promising him a better life and that he always "took care" of his workers.
  • Wonka completely breaks the natives while transforming them into his Oompa Loompas until they were empty shells. He fills their minds with lies about their former lives in Loompa Land such as claiming they lived in the treetops rather than houses or were constantly intimidated by ferocious beasts. He claims himself to be their savior who owns them body and soul.
  • Wonka crudely gives them the name Oompa Loompas based off their native language. It translates to "drowned minds."
  • Wonka ruins Lofti's life and gets away with it as he did with many others.
  • While Avocado Animations' videos tend to be comedic in nature, there is nothing remotely humorous about Wonka's actions here. As such, Willy Wonka Makes An Oompa Loompa is considered one of his darkest works, alongside A Villager's Night.
    • While Wonka does have a couple comedic moments, they do not come anywhere close to detracting from his evilness as the crimes he commits are treated with utmost horror
  • While Willy Wonka being reimagined as evil (whether it is being a colonialist or a serial killer who adds human flesh to his chocolate) is nothing new, such as with MeatCanyon's take on the Chocolatier, Wonka, in WWMAOL is not based off any real-life figures like Jeffrey Epstein.
  • Overall, he not only succeeds in killing the natives and transforming them into Oompa Loompa slaves but gets off scot free for all of his horrific crimes, making him a Karma Houdini.

Trivia[]

  • Him and Steve are the only Avocado Animations villains to be Pure Evil.
  • He is also the only villainous version of Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka to be Pure Evil.
  • This is by far the Most Evil Depiction of Willy Wonka due to being completely okay with ruining Lofti's life and turning the Oompa Loompas into his mindless slaves.
