~ William Afton in "Back Together". |
William Afton is the main antagonist of the Stupendium's Five Nights at Freddy's songs, serving as one of the three main antagonists (alongside Molten Freddy and Scrap Baby) of "Fazbear Family", the main antagonist of "Back Together" and the overarching antagonist of "A Pizza The Action".
He is a serial killer who murdered numerous children before meeting his fate inside the Spring Bonnie costume, only to return from the dead numerous times just to leave behind a legacy and continue his killing spree.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He murdered at least five children, which resulted in them coming back from the dead as murderous animatronics hungry for blood, in what's all but outright stated to be a fate worse than death. It's worth to note he, Baby and Molten Freddy have killed so much kids Fazbear Entertainment is content with simply a few of the children leaving the pizzeria alive. Also, since he is Baby's father and presumably still Molten Freddy's creator, he is also indirectly responsible for their murders. And he's aware of all of this, referring to the other animatronics as "demon playthings" and "unspeakable freaks".
- It's also indirectly implied he had the kids filled with pistons and gears following their deaths.
- Just like in canon, he lured Susie to her death with the promise of giving back her dead dog, possibly being the one to kill it.
- He might have been the one to kill "the last guy" before the protagonist of "Fazbear Family", though this was not confirmed.
- He neglected his daughter Elizabeth, which was implied to be the true reason for her becoming a villain, simply wanting to be liked and for Afton to be proud of her.
- He is perfectly content with "the sequence" repeating, implying the constant child murders and night guard disappearances are something that happens very often in numerous locations, and he doesn't plan to change that.
- He is implied to have set at least one location on fire.
- He returns from the dead as Glitchtrap, is implied to have done something bad to a man named Jeremy, and possesses the song's protagonist while implying they'll be suffering and bleeding.
- He brainwashed and send out Vanny, Glamrock Chica, Montgomery Gator, Roxanne Wolf and Moon to kill a child named Gregory.
- Unlike in the game, he successfully takes control of Glamrock Freddy and presumably makes him attack Gregory, thus getting away with all his crimes. And given how the song was released before The Mimic's introduction, he and Glitchtrap/Burntrap are implied to be the same character.
- Although the songs have many moments of dark comedy, William lacks any comedic moments and is taken dead seriously throughout his appearances.
- He has no care for any of his allies, not caring if they get broken or killed because he only just uses them as pawns to commit his horrific killing spree.
Trivia[]
- During "Back Together", the animatronics constantly keep talking about the fate worse than death they've been trapped in. Despite them claiming the protagonist is responsible, most of those claims also line up with Afton's crimes. If it was ever confirmed he's responsible for their suffering, he would become even worse then he is now.
- William Afton is the only Stupendium Pure Evil, who isn't Adaptational Pure Evil or original character.
