~ Afton revealing himself to his victims before killing them. |
William Afton is the main antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's: Save Them and the unseen overarching antagonist of its sequel When I'm Gone.
He is a serial killer like his original counterpart who, in addition to his normal set of murders, also tried to kill Mike Schmidt as a child. He later grows up to be Mike's archenemy, killing everyone that he loved.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He taunts numerous characters throughout the entire fanfic.
- Killed his best friend Henry Emily's daughter, Charlotte, simply because he was jealous that Henry owned Fredbear's Family Diner.
- He's responsible for Henry committing suicide out of grief.
- He hid Charlie and Henry's bodies in the abandoned Fredbear's, claiming they don't deserve a burial.
- Took Gabe, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz, Cassidy and Mike Schmidt to the Safe Room and killed all but Mike, who barely managed to run away, traumatizing him for the rest of his life.
- Before this, he put a box on the Puppet's Music Box, to make sure she won't interrupt in his murders.
- He hid his victims' bodies in the animatronics, which would end up in them becoming vengeful monsters, making him responsible for all the night guards they've killed and Jeremy Fitzgerald losing his frontal lobe (in fact, Jeremy and Mike are the only survivors, which also implies that they killed Fritz Smith).
- Tries to kill Mike ten years after the Missing Children Incident to tie up loose ends.
- Mike is only 17 during the events of the fanfic, which, while much older than his previous victims, still doesn't make Mike an adult.
- Killed Mike's parents, Mary and Paul.
- Dismantles Golden Freddy with the same knife he used to kill the children.
- Pressed a button which made Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy to break apart.
- Knocked out Jeremy and left him to die in Freddy's, grinning when seeing his body.
- Knocked out Mike and took him to see the corpses of Charlie and Henry in Fredbear's before his death, simply because he could.
- Shoots Mike in the back with a gun, killing him, although he's later revived.
- The way that Mike is revived is special in its own way: Henry's spirit managed to convince God that Mike needs to kill William so he can be send to Hell, which means that even God Himself thinks that William needs to die.
- It's implied he killed the manager of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, James.
- Although he made a deal with Henry that he will let the souls go if he gets to kill Mike and Jeremy (Jeremy also needs to go because he's seen to much), he breaks it soon after it's done.
- Put the souls of his victims under his control, all while they are in pain. William also planned to do the same to Mike and Jeremy once he kills them, enjoying the thought of torturing them.
- Sends the Puppet after Mike and Jeremy, who is also under his control.
- Killed Jeremy when the man sacrificed himself to protect Mike, before trying to kill Mike once again.
- Threatens with destroying the Puppet to make sure no one will see Charlie again.
- Threatens to kill Mike in front of the souls of his parents.
- Although he killed the Missing Children, he still begs for them to help him once he has a springlock failure in the Spring Bonnie costume.
