“ | REAL REASONS. REAL. THE REASONS I KEEP LIVING, I'M A REAL DEMON, FEEL, LIKE SOMEONE'S LEFT WITHIN THESE WALLS. STILL BREATHING, STILL, DON'T NEED A HEART TO BEAT UPON. REAL REASONS, REALLY THE REASON'S, TO KILL YOU ALL | „ |
~ William singing about his own evil in the chorus of the song. |
“ | SIMPLY STATING THE FACTS, SIMPLE AS THAT. GOT ANOTHER MISSING PERSON WHEN I PICK UP THE AXE. GOT ANOTHER A MISSING PERSON, THEY'RE PROBABLY GETTING MURDERED, AND ALL THESE BODIES CERTAINLY WON'T FIT IN A BAG | „ |
~ William talking about the many murders he has committed. |
“ | I MIGHT GO WILD THE BLOOD FLOW IS VICIOUS. I'M SO VIAL BUT CUTTHROAT'S THE BUSINESS. CUT FOLKS DOWN IT'S JUST SO ADDICTIVE. MY OWN CHILD IS CLOSE ON THE HITLIST | „ |
~ William talking about the joy he takes in killing children and boasting about how he is trying to murder his own son. |
William Afton is the main antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's fan-song "-Connection Terminated-".
He is a deranged serial killer who used the Fazbear establishment to kill off several children in the 1980's before meeting his maker in the form of dying in his own springlock suit. Returning as Springtrap, he now has a new goal on his agenda, to kill his eldest son Michael and continue his killing spree.
He was voiced by TheManBeHisLa, who also voices the Zombie from "Entropy of Vengeance".
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- In the 1980's he murdered several innocent children within Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, using a mascot costume to lure five of them into a backroom and killing them, showing complete sadism in doing so.
- Within the present, he is attempting to kill his own eldest son Michael Afton, gleefully admitting to how when he sees him, Michael will "see a spike in the murder rate" and then saying later on that his own child is close on the hit list, showing that he is all but happy to murder his own family.
- He is implied to have been an abusive father towards Michael, as seen by the lines he says before the song talking about how he missed how Michael used to cry whenever he screamed at him, as well as implying that he beat Michael with a belt, and that it was going to get so much worse.
- While he mentions wanting to bring his youngest song the Crying Child back to life, his wording makes it clear that he views them more as an object which he can rebuild to perfection. Viewing him in a sort of worship like fashion with him mentioning how he was going to "beat his brother bloody for him". Even beyond this however, this is the only time William mentions the Crying Child, and he otherwise he does not motivate William's bloodlust.
- While he is clearly insane, he still has agency as he mentions multiple times throughout the song that he knows full well how evil he is and revels in it.
- He is strongly implied to have killed countless other innocents as he mentions how all of the bodies he has accumulated "won't fit in a bag". He's also strongly implied to want to continue his killing spree with how he talks of needing a "real reason to kill you all".
- While the song is largely about William boasting about his evil, it has enough plot thanks to the visuals of the song showing his actions as well as the fact that it clearly follows a loose plot of William being supposedly killed by spring locks but managing to return with a new drive to kill Michael.
