Vincent "Vinnie" Wells is one of the antagonists of Archie's Weird Mysteries. He was a slacker and a thief at Riverdale High who was arrested and put into jail for 3 decades after attempting to rob a bank to buy nachos. After being freed by his future self, they both attempted to enact vengeance on Archie Andrews (who foiled his plans) and the rest of Riverdale.
What Makes Him Pure Evil[]
- He turned everyone against Archie by using the Chrono Field Generator to change history.
- He later attempted to go even further by essentially erasing Archie from existence by ensuring his parents never meet.
- He used a T-Rex to attempt to kill Archie and the rest of Riverdale, just because Archie had caught him when he was robbing the bank. This is demonstrated with his sadistic personality when he thinks he had killed Archie, and when he was terrorizing the Chock'lit Shoppe customers.
- He has no true care for anyone, not even his younger counterpart. Although he was allied with his teen counterpart and helped him become emperor, he shows no remorse or concern for accidentally wiping Teen Vinnie out of existence and instead carries on with a more devious plan.
- It was only by being stuck in the time stream that Future Vinnie avoided being erased as well.
- While Teen Vinnie only wanted to get rid of Archie, Future Vinnie was much more ambitious and instead tried to rewrite the reality in Riverdale.
- Unlike other villains of Archie's Weird Mysteries, he has no comedic moments and is shown to be taken very seriously.
- He says that his life was ruined when he went to jail, but the reason why he went to jail in the first place was because he had been attempting a crime. Because he was a criminal even before attempting grand larcency, it's not even like he had to come to prison to be a crook.
- Moreover, Archie seemed not to have been even trying to thwart his robbery attempt; he was merely trying to stop Vinnie from trapping everyone in time.
