Vincent Goldman is the main antagonist of the 2000 video game Resident Evil: Survivor. He was the commander of the Umbrella facilities on the European Sheena Island, who commited countless atrocities both to stay in power and to enjoy himself.
He was voiced by Michael Naishtut.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He killed several of his colleages so he could rise up Umbrella's ranks.
- Was behind a big human trafficking operation where they kidnapped countless teenagers across the world to experiment on them to create Tyrant units.
- To make sure that no one tried to save the kidnapped teenagers, he took away their rights and made them be seen as just guinea pigs to continue his experiments.
- When one of his colleagues told him that they should make the experiments less painful for the teenagers that they were testing on, Vincent refused, despite being easily able to do so, just out of pure sadism.
- After there was a riot where 20 teenagers tried to escape his facility, Vincent personally shot all of them to death while smiling.
- What makes this worse is that it was Umbrella's orders to keep the teenagers alive to experiment on them, meaning Vincent was going against Umbrella's orders so he could enjoy killing them.
- Right after he found out from Lott that Ark Thompson was a spy, he tried to kill him and shot his helicopter to make sure he wouldn't escape.
- He infected all the people in the Sheena Island with the T-Virus so he would be able to keep his job by lying that the events on Sheena Island were an accident.
- When he found out that Ark lost his memories, Vincent tried to manipulate Ark into thinking he was Vincent so he could incriminate him.
- He tried to kill Ark, Lott and Lott's sister when they tried to escape from Sheena Island, only to be killed by a Tyrant unit.
- While he has a mother that cares for him and tried to convince him to stop doing the things he does in Umbrella, their relationship is never explored beyond that and Vincent still continued to work for Umbrella and enjoying killing people despite being against his mother's wishes.
- Overall, Goldman is explicitly shown to take great sadism in his crimes, while also being completely willing to go against his orders if it means he can enjoy hurting or killing others, proving everything he ever did was for his own enjoyment rather then for the good of Umbrella.
- Despite the franchise's high heinous standards, Goldman stands out with having lower recourses than a majority of the villains in the series due to being just a member of Umbrella and not one of their leaders.
