Vandal Savage is the main antagonist of Justice League: Doom.
He is a millennia-old immortal who seeks to rule the world, stealing Batman’s contingencies against the Justice League and recruiting a team of supervillains to take them down.
He was voiced by Phil Morris.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He enslaved humanity for generations in the past.
- He gave the Royal Flush gang interdimensional tech to purposefully instigate their robbing spree, being responsible for the one onscreen casualty and possibly many more beforehand.
- He stole Batman’s contingencies against the Justice League, modified them to be lethal, and sent his newly formed Legion of Doom to enact them.
- This resulted in Batman nearly being buried alive, Superman getting shot with a Kryptonite bullet, Wonder Woman being drugged into attacking civilians and police until she would die from exhaustion, Martian Manhunter being burned alive, and Green Lantern being psychologically broken.
- The exposure of said plans caused a rift of distrust between Batman and the Justice League members, leading Batman to resign his position in the Justice League.
- He attempted to wipe out half of the world’s population by using a missile to trigger a solar flare.
