V is one of the two main antagonists (alongside the Psychiatrist) of the 2019 indie action-platformer game Katana Zero.
He is a sadistic Russian gangster hired by a mysterious organization to bring back the combat wartime drug known as "Chronos" back into public circulation.
What makes him Pure Evil?[]
- In general, he is a sadistic gangster who sets up cameras in various places (which Zero infiltrates in while killing several men that attacks him) to make snuff films for his own amusement.
- Besides SNOW, he bears an extremely rude and despotic attitude towards everyone he meets even his own henchmen. He even told Zero that he had no problem with him killing them off.
- When Zero was about to save Davoud Bey, who was being held hostage by V's henchmen and was nearly close to dying, V put an explosive collar around his neck and automatically deactivates it, killing him just when Zero was about to get him to safety.
- It was heavily implied that V was the one who shot DJ Electrohead at the 2nd District club whether or not if Zero was willing to let him go after a small negotiation.
- Records and sends a tape to Zero of him torturing and killing the person next door (who was Zero’s neighbor partying with loud music) much to Zero’s disgust referring to it as a “favor” for “peace and quiet”.
- The "favor" he done for Zero was completely uncalled for, as he filmed him torturing two of Zero's neighbors while they were just minding their own business, the worst tortures includes the following:
- Proceeds to continue to abuse one of the men despite being told to stop.
- Injects the experimental Chronos inside of him to extend his agony.
- In addition to that, Chronos is a drug known for making some people experience hallucinations and if one user goes through withdrawal, not only do they die a painful death but experience something even worse than that, they get stuck in a time loop in their minds in eternal agony as they relive the moment of their death again and again, which is exactly what V gave him unwillingly.
- Slits Zero's neighbor using a wire-cutter, then punches him after seeing his “enthusiasm” go telling him “they shouldn’t be playing music this loud at all”.
- Lastly, he mockingly tells him to smile at the camera then kills Zero’s neighbor offscreen.
- While he gives Zero a ride in his limousine and referring to him as his “biggest fan”, it was only to earn his approval in making his snuff films.
- When he tries to befriend and convince him to kill the prostitutes he got on his car at Studio 51, a clandestine studio where he make all sort of snuff films, but Zero denies and insults V, calling him "f-cking subhuman". At the end, V's pride was bigger than his admiration, and kicks him out of the car.
- If Zero doesn’t give V his sword, he will tell one of his women to get a razor for him, while one of them are still asleep he abuses one of them.
- After a sudden explosion in the Mansion which Zero was a victim of, he kidnaps him and ties him up to a chair while sadistically mocking and torturing him. In one of the scenes he will shoot Zero in head over and over again thanks to the Chronos.
- Even before capturing Zero, he captures Omar Al-Qasim, one of the people who were in charge of manufacturing Chronos.
- When the latter doesn’t talk, V sadistically beats him up to death and shoots him out of rage, after Zero provoked him.
- Orders his enforcer, Mr. Kissyface, to kill Zero with his axe.
- Even though he felt flattered by SNOW's comment on how he managed to kill Zero it was out of "professionalism" and so-called "pride" rather than true gratefulness.
- Shortly before his capture by Fifteen, he called himself the 'Dragon Slayer', claiming to have six NULL soldiers killed before.
- While he is portrayed as the funniest character in the game, it does not detract him from his actions. In fact, in many cases these comedic moments just show how completely subhuman, dark and sadistic he is.
