“ | Drew: 27 years ago in the Himalayas, something attacked my family, took my parents, our parents away from us forever. Doyle: It was you, Argost. And I want to hear you admit it. Argost: Did I? Oh, there was so many in those days that one could hardly remember each individual scream. |

~ Argost cruelly admitting to Doyle and Drew that he cannot even remember killing their parents due to how many he killed. |
Vincent Vladislav Argost, more commonly referred to as V. V. Argost or simply Argost, is the main antagonist of the 2008 Cartoon Network series The Secret Saturdays. The Yeti of Himalayan legend (as revealed in the second last episode), created a mask in his mountain home and went out into the human world.
He was voiced by Corey Burton, who also voiced Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Brainiac in the DC Animated Universe, Brainiac 1.0 in Legion of Super Heroes, Megatron in Transformers: Animated, Zeus in God of War, Silver Cyclone in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, the Galalunan Commander in Sym-Bionic Titan, and Hugo Strange in Batman: Arkham City.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He used to murder many tourists as a Yeti and keep mementos and souvenirs from them in his lair as trophies, with Drew and Doyle's parents among his victims.
- When the Secret Scientists invaded Weird World, he set up multiple dangerous traps, killing 33 scientists in the process.
- Killed the king of Kumari Kandam to try and start a war with the Kumari and humanity, even starting to attack a city later on.
- Assisted Rani Nagi and the Naga in several nasty schemes.
- He has tried killing the entire Saturday family, including Zak, who is just a child, on multiple occasions. Once, he tied them to trees, left them to be eaten alive by carnivorous cryptids, and tried to use traps to do them in, like he did with the Secret Scientists.
- Grouped Van Rook and Piecemeal together to capture Fiskerton (believing him to be Kur). When Van Rook refused, he intimidated him by dangling him above vicious guard dogs until he accepted. He also planned to allow Piecemeal to devour Fisk after he didn't need him anymore.
- Tricked Fiskerton into turning himself in, lying that he would stop the train that was going to crash; Zak was on it. He was going to allow Zak to be killed in the crash, and he mocked Fisk about him not being the kind of person who would keep his promises.
- He ordered Munya to kidnap anyone who had past connections with him, such as Baron Finster and Xing-Xing, and murder them to prevent the Saturday family, particularly Zak, from knowing his past as a Yeti because Zak could use that knowledge to control him.
- Tried to conquer mankind with an army of cryptids, and when Rani Nagi instead convinced him to wipe out humanity to ensure he's truly unstoppable, he willingly obliged and orderd his cryptids to try and kill them all.
- Captured Zak Saturday and took him to a secret island, planning to take the power of Kur from him for himself so he'd be unstoppable and able to take over the world like he did with his alternate universe counterpart.
- He didn't care when Rani Nagi killed Van Rook, his former ally.
- Killed Zak Monday by slowly draining his life force and temporarily killed Zak Saturday the same way, sadistically enjoying the latter’s pain.
