Hello, just thought of making a new villain proposal.

What's the work?[]

The Harmoniaverse is an MLP fanfiction series made by kahnac. The current story is "The Light of Harmonys Hope", a sequel to “The Price of Freedom Mk. 2” and “The Bahamut, and Djinn of the Harmoniaverse”. It is based on The Legend of Spyro Trilogy, and The Lord of The Rings (somewhat).

Who is he? What has he done?[]

Lord Tirek is a power-hungry centaur born 4,000 years ago with the power to drain the magic and abilities out of other creatures. He is also the descendant of Tirac and his successor to carry on his dark legacy. Tirac survived his defeat at the hooves of the very first ponies to wield the power of harmony, and was looking for a successor to carry on his work. After running away from home after an incident involving his parents, Tirek would be found by the withered centaur and made his evil heir. He would then train him to use his powers, and then share the secrets of the Rainbow of Darkness - the TRUE Rainbow of Darkness. Tirek performed an ability that is considered forbidden even among the Primordials, themselves, and yet was used to give birth to Tirathos. He murders his parent and had lied and manipulated his brother, Scorpan. Basically, he is the same as canon Tirek, doing the exact sames things as he did in season 4, but things change in "The Price of Freedom Mk. 2". Thanks to Cozy Glow, he dons an enchanted armor that restores him to his natural, original form (and he'll stay that way, even without the armor) which was him in his prime. He also conspired with Cozy Glow, who became his protégé, into draining all magic from Equestria to get revenge on the Mane Six for defeating him and have them trapped in Tartarus for eternity. He calls Spike a pet. Though he helped the Mane Six escape from Tartarus by giving Dusk his remaining magic to her for escape, he convinced them to set him free allowing him to escape. He took Neighsay's medallion. He opens a portal to free the Pony of Shadows. Though like BW Megatron, he would rather conquer Equestria his own way, his defeats would lead to him relenting and seeking the Rainbow of Darkness. And Grogar would only motivate him further. So after coercing Chrysalis, Cozy Glow, King Sombra, Storm King, and Erebus/Pony of Shadows into his aide, he would then spend the rest of the season gathering what he needed to recreate the Rainbow of Darkness. He uses dark magic to create many different demons to serve him such as Apophis, The Great Serpent of Evil, Bahamut, Dismay, and Nocturnus. He gave Sombra the power of an alicorn and told him to destroy the Tree of Harmony. He convinces Grogar to bring back Sombra again. Grogar's Bell would even be a key to awakening the dark power before Tirek finally succeeds, and produces the Rainbow of Darkness. Knowing how powerful Grogar is and hating how much he punishes him and his comrades for arguing and/or failing him, they secretly decided to use the Bewitching Bell in their scheme behind his back to overthrow him. He will become a demonic hybrid of himself, and the REAL Grogar. He creates a vessel for the Djinn to inhabit, and returns to the mortal plane, but later Tirek will use his own Bewitching Bell to absorb the Emperor of Darkness. Tirek will then absorb Grogar into himself as pure, magical energy, and in the process transform into a godly demon that is a hybrid of himself, and the devilish Grogar, with the centaur as the basis. The bell he will wear around his neck in this form, since he doesn't have to risk Grogar taking control of him after having him trapped in the centaur's own body. Now, the bell is only a power source, which Tirek can safely wear as he takes Grogar's place as the Elder God of Darkness. He destroyes Canterlot and then reshape it into Midnight Castle. He then begins corrupting the land of Equestria with The Darkness, and tries to corrupt the whole world. He lies about chaos magic being unusable. In the final battle, he double-crosses the other villains via stealing their magic with the bell, then uses all of the stolen magic on himself to become all-powerful, and wield The Rainbow of Darkness at the height of its power from all of the negative energy the ponies had unwittingly fed it during their division. This would include creating an army of monsters to fight for him, and battle the United Nations of Equestria. This would lead to a clash between the final Rainbow of Light, and the Darkness, which the latter would lose, and revert him back to his withered self while undoing all his dark powers had wrought. Or perhaps, even return him to his original form from the comics, and have Chrysalis be the one who finishes him by either draining him of his love until there's nothing left, or simply blast him into oblivion before surrendering to Dusk with Cozy Glow. Either way, his own machinations would be his undoing. If Discord was an embodiment of chaos, then Tirek would soon become an embodiment of darkness.

Mitigating Factors?[]

No. Unlike his original counterpart, Lord Tirek is nothing more than just a straight-up monster. There's basically nothing that stands out, he's just plain and simply evil at the end of the day. Even Queen Chrysalis noted how he had no love in his heart when she tried and failed to feed on it.

Heinous Standard?[]

This version of Lord Tirek has all the evil aspects of canon Tirek, except for a few minor things. This characterization of Tirek is one of the most evil My Little Pony villains, even more so than his G1 counterpart. For one thing, he is always calm, and collected. He works to always remain in control of a situation and has learned to do this exceedingly well. He also knows how to plan for small eventualities should any plan of his failure. He is cruel, sadistic, manipulative, and uncaring for others. To him, all others are mere pawns in his ever-growing schemes. Though he is also extremely arrogant, he doesn't allow it to cloud his judgement. And he NEVER takes any slack from anyone. No one is superior to him, and he will always ensure that others know this. Either through his cruel words, or his ruthless blows, Tirek will not tolerate anyone trying to undermine him, or assert any kind of dominance over him. However, should he encounter a powerful entity such as the grogar who joined him with five other villains, Tirek will bide his time, and conceive of a way of usurping his so-called leader. And he will not hesitate to kill to achieve his goals. So basically, he's a sadistic sociopath who knows how to manipulate others, mess with their heads, or inflict cruel tortures upon them. And he is a domineering warmonger who asserts his authority over those who beneath him. He is without conscience, or reason, and holds no regard for the lives of others. Their lives are his to bargain, and trade with, or take for himself. He is a devil incarnate who aims to be a God among mortals. And he will allow no one to stand in his way: not even his supposed allies.

Verdict?[]

A pretty solid yes in my opinion.
