RAT2

A despicable sh*thead for sure, but a Complete Monster? Eh, not really.

Hoo boy... so he got removed in the fanon version so why not here after discussing it with other people... Yeah, he has to go.

What's the Work?[]

Five Nights at Candy's. Self-explatoniary, another Five Nights at Freddy's fangame where you play as a girl named Mary Schmidt (and Marylin in the second game). The game is just like your average FNAF fan-game; surviving custom animatronics, lasting for five (or six) nights, but this game actually has lore to it too. Now, currently, there's three (four if you include the remake of the first game and five if you include the upcoming fourth game) games to the sequel, each piecing together the story. Moving onwards, now..

Who is RAT? What did he Do?[]

RAT is the main antagonist. Simply put, he's notable for being a two-time murderer, a four-time attempted murderer (one being someone familiar), and overall drunkard with a massive hatred for children. He's also notorious for being... frantically hated by everyone, like, largely. The rest of his acts can be seen on his page.

Why he doesn't qualify?[]

I honestly feel like his actions were overlooked in the past, not gonna lie. Don't get me wrong, he's certainly a despisable asshole without any redeeming qualities, but at the end of the day?... He's just another typical Hate Sink in the Fazbear Fanverse.

The guy has, like, two murders to his name. One murder was a night guard, which I'm pretty sure is Step 1 to becoming a FNaF fangame animatronic, and framed Candy for it, thus shutting down Candy's Burger and Fries. The second one he killed wasn't even intelligent at the time he destroyed it, and that didn't even last long either since he was practically rebuilt. Sure, there's the implication that he might've ordered CAT to kill two twins, but it's never outright stated, only implied, and even if he was ordered, CAT still did it. Hell, I'd even go as far as to say that CAT is the more heinous one between the duo, as he actually manages to succeed in killing children, unlike RAT who has only two murders of a grown-up guard and a robot, and the rest of his four murders only attempted.

To put it simple, RAT's just not heinous enough. Hateable? Sure, but not heinous. Not even heinous enough to be NPE, quite frankly.

Final Verdict[]

Cut.
