What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Even though he was once a good friend to Ultraman Ken and being loyal to him, all of that changed completely when Ken was being promoted as a top commander instead of him. After he got himself banished from the Land of Light for trying to touch the Plasma Spark, he turned himself into an evil Ultra with full of darkness in his heart due to result of being merged with Rayblood.
- Despite this, he didn't care and still wanted to fulfill his vengeance towards the Land of Light, showing that he has full Moral Agency.
- After received a Giga Battle Nizer, he attacked the Land of Light with an army of monsters and attacked Zoffy, Ken, and Marie before being imprisoned by Ultraman King.
- After being freed by Alien Zarab, he mercilessly betrayed and destroyed him.
- When he was caught and escaped from imprisonment, he easily defeated the Ultra Warriors and Ultraman Taro.
- Returning to the Land of Light for revenge, he began to attack all of the Ultras, including the Ultra Brothers.
- After defeating Father and Mother of Ultra, he took away Plasma Spark and left the Land of Light to be completely frozen.
- At the Monster Graveyard, he revived an army of monsters and aliens alike with the Giga Battle Nizer.
- Corrupted Rei and his Gomora by infecting him with Belial Virus to have him on his side until Rei was convinced by ZAP Spacy to snap out of it.
- When corrupting Rei, he had his Gomora attack Ultraseven, which caused him to be severely injured before he sent his Eye Slugger to Zero as an S.O.S.
- After Zero fought the army of monsters, Belial tried to defeat Zero but to no avail.
- After becoming Belyudra, he easily overpowered the heroes before Rei controls the monsters to make Belyudra's body rebel against him. It is heavily indicated that all the monsters were unwilling to form Belyudra since most of them were seen struggling and were under Belial's control, forcibly being merged together in pain.
- After his defeat at the hands of Ultraman Zero, he vowed to get revenge on the Land of Light and the Ultras.
- He made his return after forming his own empire, the Belial Galactic Empire, he called it as he renounced himself as Kaiser Belial with his two allies, Darkgone and Iaron.
- He conquered a world called Esmeralda in another universe and possibly killed millions on his way there.
- He enslaved and brainwashed Mirror Knight.
- Collected as many emeralds within Esmeralda, plotting to absorb its energy to grow more powerful.
- Because of the absorption, he transforms into Arch Belial and held Zero to crush him to death before he was stopped.
- Attempts to destroy Esmeralda during his breakdown when Zero and his allies were about to win by performing his special attack, Arc Deathcium Beam.
- He was later revived as Kaiser Darkness after combining with the Armored Darkness and from his death under Zero.
- Formed the Darkness Five into hunting down and have revenge against Zero.
- During his fight with Zero, he was thought to be dead once Zero defeated him. Unfortunately, it was to get his guard caught-off as Belial's spirit possesses him, resulting into the birth of Zero Darkness.
- In his infamous Moral Event Horizon, he killed off all of Zero's comrades: Glen Fire, Mirror Knight, Jean-Bot, and Jean-Nine effortlessly as the soul of Zero was forced to watch every one of his comrades massacred under the cruel hands of his enemy taking over his body.
- However, the deaths were reversed thanks to the rewind ability of Zero's Shining form, but unbeknownst to him that it also revived Belial under the process, now plotting to get stronger to kill Zero.
- He recruits Kei Fukuide during the Omega Armageddon, implying he was indirectly responsible for Kei's home planet being destroyed.
- Created a cataclysmic bomb to destroy all life and trigger the Crisis Impact, literally succeeding in destroying all planets in the universe after the Earth was destroyed and thus causing a black hole. However, it failed when Ultraman King intervened.
- Even with his retreat from the explosion to recover, his legacy continued on when Kei created his son, Ultraman Geed aka Riku Asakura, when he stole some remaining Ultra Capsules and Risers from the Land of Light to form his genetics into him.
- He then makes his return and becomes Chimeraberos to kidnap his son Geed. Tormenting and attempting to corrupt him to become just like him. However, Laiha and King's intervention prevented this.
- He took possession of Arie Ishikari, a young woman, to further his plans by manipulating his servant Kei Fukuide into getting the Empera and Dark Lugiel Capsules to achieve his greatest form, Atrocious.
- After achieving his form, he absorb King's Childhood Radiation to disrupt the balance he placed within the universe.
- While both fighting his son Geed in body and spirit. Riku senses the pain and suffering within Belial's earlier days as an Ultra as he destroys the Giga Battle Nizer to free the "inside" Belial from the Rayblood's influence, thus having a moment with him one last time before destroying the real Belial for good.
- It seems debatable by choice, but no real evidence shows Belial showing remorse within that moment since as remembered back then. He brought his pain and suffering to himself as it followed through, while it gave him a chance to finally change thanks to his son, only to decline when the latter still refuses to believe those words and scoffs the thought off.
- His excuse is completely slim compared to his actions. Before he was corrupted, he was banished from the Land of Light for his actions due to being outweighed by his lack of regard what an Ultra means. This is especially true when considering that:
- Belial used to be friends with Ultraman Ken, later known as Father of Ultra, but he became consumed by jealousy after seeing that Ken was promoted to being the Inter Galactic Defense Force's Top Commander instead of him.
- Belial has a crush on Ultrawoman Marie, later known as Mother of Ultra, whom he wanted to marry. But instead, he became heartbroken after she was married to Ken, possibly increasing his jealousy even more.
- He tried to take the energy from Plasma Spark to obtain more power, but the light emanating him from it was too strong for resist. It was because the spark senses his pride and arrogance inside him.
- The millions of lives he killed had nothing to do with him being banished from the Land of Light.
- Ultimately, Ultraman Ken, who was his friend, turned back on him and banished him from the Land of Light due to his crimes against Ultras as a result for his actions. Thus, Belial brought his own misery onto himself. Although Father of Ultra could've handled it better, Belial went far beyond the excuse.
Trivia[]
- He is the very first and so far only Ultraman in the Ultraman franchise to be Pure Evil.
- His Eteldummy clone couldn't count as Pure Evil due to being created by Etelgar to defeat Ultraman Zero. The same goes for his Parallel Isotope counterpart since he is from a parallel timeline and wasn't able to do anything heinous like the original.
