Two-Toed Tom is the main antagonist of folklore same name. He is a legendary demonic alligator said to inhabit the swamps of the Southeastern United States, where he caused a reign of terror during the 1900s, slaughtering several humans and animals in its wake.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Brutally slaughtered any livestock or civilians that came across its swamps. Despite being a predator, it showed obvious signs of intelligence as it was smart enough to avoid its captors. Its behavior goes beyond that of an average predator looking for food given some stories state that it even raped the women who passed by its swamp before it killed them.
- His reign of terror lasted for at least 20 years.
- Once a farmer named Pap Haynes, partners with his sons in an attempt to kill the beast by blowing up its pond, it's revealed that Two-Toed Tom was aware of his plans and had moved onto another pond where he encountered his 12-year-old granddaughter and brutally murdered her, leaving her remains for him to find. This left Pap eventually living his life in misery and bitterness as he tried in more and more failed attempts to capture and kill the creature before his death.
- Despite being a demon, the alligator shows he clearly has moral agency as it raped the women it encountered out of pure sadism and mauled Haynes' young granddaughter to death just to spite the poor man for trying to kill it.
- It is implied that he raped his female victims even after their deaths.
