Tsuruoka is the main antagonist of the psychological thriller Talentless Nana.
He is a high-ranking official of the Government who was Nana Hiiragi's former superior and father figure but now her archenemy. As such, he was indirectly responsible for the murders Nana committed. He later discovers Nanao's body in the ocean and decides to make him a pawn.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Had Nana's parents killed and brainwashed her into thinking Talented burglars did it.
- Established a government program where young girls are taken to be trained as assassins before being dropped on the island.
- Genocide.
- He had no qualms about sending the Talented students to the mainland even if it were to cause a huge insurrection between them and the civilians which would lead to several casualties.
- Murdering Michiru after promising Nana that he'd help heal her.
- Trying to have Nana killed for her insolence/no longer being useful to him.
- Brainwashes Nanao into becoming a supervillain.
