He was portrayed by Kevin Carroll.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He became Pierce's right-hand and figurehead, establishing himself as a feared crime boss who was dreaded by many.
- He & Pierce had Lucifer kidnapped and dumped in the desert.
- He betrayed Pierce and murdered & mutilated several people he did favors for, one of whom was the man he tasked with kidnapping Lucifer.
- Went to L.A and murdered several people Lucifer did favors for, including Joey Pileggi and Frida Marquez.
- He also mutilated them in poetic ways to scare Lucifer, such as breaking Joey's legs as Lucifer got Joey a job as a runner for the mafia and hanging Frida by her hair as Lucifer helped her become a hairstylist.
- Tricked Lucifer into trapping himself in an abandoned storage depot, in which he attempted to keep Lucifer trapped there.
- He also repeatedly taunted Lucifer by showing himself to be aware of the latter's true celestial identity and taunted him by using Lucifer's tricks against him, much to Lucifer's shock and anger.
- He arrived at a restaurant and killed two of Frankie Ferrante's bodyguards and wounded Frankie.
- When Decker & Pierce arrived, the Sinnerman started a gunfight and refused to be taken in quietly, expressing his enjoyment of the thrill of the chase.
- By hiding a pen in his sleeves, when Lucifer goes to confront the suspected criminal mastermind to finally learn what he truly desires, the Sinnerman is shown to have gouged his own eyes out, much to Lucifer's horror.
- He also still taunts Lucifer by saying that now Lucifer will never know what he truly desires and begins to laugh sadistically as Dan and several officers barged into the room.
- He calls in one of his favors to have a woman named Faith Kill murdered in a car accident and forces her friend to fake her own abduction and attempt to drown herself to trick the entire precinct into letting him out.
- While he leads the officers to find and save the woman, he only does so in order to get Lucifer to kidnap him.
- While being tortured and held in captivity by Lucifer, the Sinnerman proves very resilient, as he does not break from Mazikeen's torture and continues to taunt and psychologically abuse Lucifer in various ways.
- He tries to goad Lucifer into killing him, and when Lucifer discovers the Sinnerman's suicidal desires, he attempts to force Lucifer into killing him while chanting "FREE WILL!"
Trivia[]
- He is one of the five Lucifer villains who are Pure Evil alongside Michael, Julian McCaffrey, Dromos and Pete Daily, and the only one who died.
- Despite claiming to want Lucifer to honor his free will by killing him, the decoy's suicidal motivations are left mostly unclear, as are his motivations to betray Pierce, as even he doesn't know why the decoy did what he did.
