I can look like whoever, whatever, I please, and so I do. Soon, friend could not trust friend, because nobody knew who I might be...and suspicion turned to hatred, and hatred to battle. Things went a bit too far...and the whole place went to pieces.
~ The One Who Is Many reveals he indirectly wiped out all alien life - also showing his true sadistic nature.

The One Who Is Many is the main antagonist of Comet Crisis, a tie-in graphic novel to the cartoon series LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. It is a mysterious shape-shifting being that enjoys taking the form of others, tricking others for his own amusement. When the ninja find themselves stuck on a comet, it begins to sabotage their efforts to return home and torments the ninja to escape his own boredom.

What Makes It Pure Evil?[]

  • It is a sadistic entity that genuinely enjoys causing conflict between others, doing what he does for the sole sake of entertainment and getting rid of his boredom.
  • In the past, it would cause conflict in an alien world by taking the form of other inhabitants, wanting to have everyone turn against each other. This would result in the inhabitants of the planet-destroying themselves, turning the planet into space rubble. While it may have not been its intention to destroy the planet and wipe the species out, it appears to be completely apathetic to the situation.
  • It would throw Kai into a hole on the planet and take his form, using his disguise as a way to sabotage the ninjas ship and keep them stuck on the asteroid (which would also indirectly prevent them from traveling back to Earth to stop the Overlord from destroying the world.)
  • It would incriminate Cole for sabotaging the ship and nearly blowing it up, causing conflict between him and the other ninja.
  • It would take the form of the people the ninja cared about, taunting them over their fears and insecurities, such as using Nya's form to taunt Jay about liking Cole better.
  • It would capture Jay and claim that it would only free him if the ninja agreed to stay on the comet with him forever, wanting its sadistic game to never end.
  • It tries to trap the ninja beneath rocks, presumably in an attempt to kill them.
  • When the ninja comes to rescue Jay, it reveals that it never actually intended to let them leave the comet, as it knew that if they found it, they'd more likely than not try to flee the planet with it. All it wants is to keep the ninja there forever, wanting to torment them and turn them constantly against each other.
