“ | Jonatan: All you gotta do to get people to do what you want them to is to make them think there'll be consequences if they don't. Dennis: It's a principle our whole society is built upon. Biker: So it's OK to threaten people into killing each other? Jonatan: Wake up, man. Don't you see this is a country at war? Dennis: 50 Blessings is a foundation for patriots. Our members must fill out a form in which they state that they're willing to die for the sake of our nation. |

Jonatan and Dennis, collectively known as The Janitors, are the main antagonists of the Hotline Miami video game series. They are a duo of terrorists who act as handlers for 50 Blessings.
What Makes Them Pure Evil?[]
- They threatened numerous people into committing mass murders.
- They incited and conspired hate crimes against Russian-Americans, such as but not limited to assault and murder.
- In order to extort Richter into doing their dirty work, they threatened his severely ill mother's life.
- To avoid responsibility for their crimes, they redirected their phone calls to the Russian Mafia and other businesses they were impersonating.
- Via an associate, they incited a prison riot in an attempt to kill Richter so he doesn't testify to the court. The riot itself led to the deaths of numerous inmates and guards.
- Even though it was ultimately the General who orchestrated the White House attack that led to global nuclear war, their actions greatly led up to it.
- There's no indication they care for one another, as Jonatan simply flips Biker off should he kill Dennis rather than reacting with any emotional distress.
Trivia[]
- Both of their appearances are based on the developers, Dennis Wedin and Jonatan Soderstrom.
- Along with Manny Pardo, The Janitors are one of the three Hotline Miami Pure Evils.
