Just sign the dotted line and I’ll make you shine; it will last for all time.
~ The Demon making the deal with the Man with the Golden Song.
You stupid things never read; clearly stated that your lovely music makes their hearts bleed. You signed the dotted line and I made you shine and this lasts for all time
~ The Demon calling the protagonist a stupid thing for making the deal.

The Demon is the main antagonist of the music video called The Pianist, based on the Creepypasta of the same name. She is a manipulative female demon who makes deals with desperate humans like the Man with the Golden Song to gain their souls by fulfilling their wishes, but at a terrible cost, which involves killing people in brutal ways like making their hearts bleed.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]

  • She stole other human souls who didn't read the contract before signing their souls away since she said "You stupid things never read".
  • She tricked the Man with the Golden Song into giving his soul to her, so she can make him able to play a beautiful song to win the girl's heart back which made the people who went to the performance hearts bleed.
  • She killed many of the neighbors who went to the performance by giving them a disease that makes their hearts bleed, which makes her kill count dozens. The crowd can be seen during protagonist's performance, so it isn't an offscreen villainy.
    • To make her even worse, she killed the girl that the Man with the Golden Song was in love with, because the video clip makes it clear that she went to the performance.
  • Even though she let the Man with the Golden Song join her, it was only because she could get more souls by spreading the curse and she doesn't care for him since she referred to him and humanity as "stupid little things".
  • She stated the curse is like a disease because it spreads like one and they'll work together to "plant the seeds," which means giving contracts to desperate humans to gain their souls.
  • She appears to hate humanity or at least think of them as inferior since she referred to them as “little stupid things” for not reading the contract she gave before signing their souls away.
  • Despite being a demon, nothing implies she has moral agency issues since she knows how to manipulate others by manipulating the main protagonist by saying to sign the dotted line so he could have "the pretty little thing" (the Man with the Golden Song love interest), and calling the Man with the Golden Song and humanity "stupid little things" for making the deals.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike the original version, instead of the Demon giving the Man with the Golden Song a terrible fate where he will be forced to play the piano for eternity and everyone who hears his music will die, Madame Macabre changed it to the Man with the Golden Song making a deal with the Demon so he could join her because she disliked the original story's ending.
