Pure Evil Wiki

The Dark Town is a minor antagonist in the short-lived 1994 cartoon, Monster Force, serving as the main antagonist of the episode "The Dark City". it is a sentient and malevolent creature that uses its power to lure the entire population of villages and towns to devour them all while it sadistically toys with them whenever it reemerges every solar storm that happens every 100 years.

What Makes It Pure Evil?[]

  • Despite not having lines on its own and only through its human projections, it has enough personality, which through the use of its human and monster projections, displays his fiendishly intelligent ploys and manipulations, using it to sadistically toy with his victims and torment them to feed on their fears, relishing in his vile habits of cruelly luring people to its trap that when it manifests into a winged-demon, it is seen laughing hysterically confronting the heroes.
  • Despite being called "The Dark Town", nothing indicates it is made of evil or that it needs fear and souls to survive, and is mostly seeming to do it out of choice and sadism considering how sadistic it is in its methods, prioritizing tormenting its survivors more so than feeding upon them.
  • Whenever it appears on Earth every 100 years during a solar storm, it lures in thousands of people to torment them and feed on their fears before devouring them and absorbing their souls. It has a long and established history, having devoured the entire population of the Minoan Civilization, 30 English villages, a Dutch colony in Maluka and the Hungarian town of Escoric as a part of its sadistic game.
  • Lures a biking couple with the guise of offering coffee to trap them inside a town and then devouring them all, being the only villain to have an onscreen kill count.
  • Psychologically tortures Sherry in her mind to give her a fever while giving her hellish visions in order to force the Monster Force to stay for the night.
  • Sadistically toys with the Monster Force before attempting to devour them all, before planning to drag them with him when his time on Earth is finishing.

Trivia[]

  • Both it and Count Dracula are the only villains from Monster Force to count as Pure Evil.
