You see we have a problem. Ditzy is mine. Now you can stand out of the way and scurry back home or we can do things the hard way. Look at you. Ditzy tried so hard to save you. Too bad it was all in vain. At most I would have let you scurry back off to your stupid computer. I’m giving you one last chance. A mercy after what you tried to do to me. Leave Ditzy with me, and you get to be safe.
~ The Dark Lord threatening the Second Coming while controlling Ditzyshine's body.

~ Dark ordering Ditzyshine to kill Second.

The Dark Lord, or just Dark for short, is the main antagonist of the Animator vs. Animation fanfic Endgame. He is the archenemy of the Chosen One and the Second Coming, and the adoptive father of Ditzyshine.

Alan Becker's third creation and a narcissist seeking to take over the Internet, Dark returns ten months after the events of Season 2 of AvA with the goal of killing Chosen and Second and completing his goal with the help of his new "daughter", an ice-powered stick figure named Ditzy.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • To start off, every single crime he committed in canon due to the work being a sequel to Season 2.
  • Once his life was saved by a young and lonely girl named Ditzyshine, Dark molded her into his perfect apprentice, horribly abusing her and making her think she and Dark are the good guys, simply because he knew how powerful she could be and wanted her power on his side. To be specific, Dark would:
    • Hit her any time she disobeys him.
    • Starve her on a regular basis, forcing her to find food for herself, at one point saying she can "go a few days without eating" simply because she wasn't paying attention to him.
    • Have her life in a room that hurts those with ice powers for no real reason than having her under his mercy.
    • Get mad anytime she thinks about anyone but him, wanting her to stay completely loyal and obedient to him.
    • Brutally train her beyond her limits, ignoring how much he hurts her.
    • Have her raid cities with her, implicitly destroying entire civilizations and certainly leaving numerous people homeless and traumatized, one of those being a young girl named Plasma.
    • It's worth to note that recruiting Ditzy is treated as crossing a line he shouldn't have by the in-universe cast, with his abuse of her making every single other villain on his team decide to plot against and find a way to betray him.
  • One day, upon meeting a friendly stick, Dark would forcefully install Vira powers onto him for no real reason, making him into the Universal One who is traumatized and seeks revenge on Dark.
    • While he later feels "remorse" for this, it's only because he realised he accidentally made himself a powerful enemy than genuinely feeling bad about it.
  • Would recruit several villains into his army with the promise of getting revenge on the Chosen One and conquering the whole Internet for himself. In reality, he would treat them poorly, such as threatening to kill Negative and Disaster Guy if they don't do well enough in the final battle.
  • Would send out a message to the heroes, warning them that if they get in his way, he will kill them and everyone they care about.
  • When he realises Ditzy is near the heroes' base, he flies over there to forcefully get her back while threatening Plasma's life upon realising she befriended Ditzy.
  • He made Ditzy be a spy for him under the promise of sparing Plasma's life if she does well enough, which was a lie as revealed later. He would also install some programming into her that would let him see and hear through her body, as well as hijack it if necessary.
  • Tried to kill Chosen, Universal, Plasma and the Deserved One once they attacked him, injuring Uni and Plasma in the process.
  • Once Ditzy's cover as a spy is blown, Dark takes over her body with his tech and tries to kill the Second Coming.
  • Once Victim sees him controlling Ditzy's body, he tries to kill him despite Victim being a member of his own team, injuring and nearly killing him in the process.
  • He had Ditzy attack and almost kill Chosen in battle before trying to make her do the same to Plasma and Second once they arrive to help her.
  • Despite almost killing him, Dark delusionally believes Victim would still save him when he's cornered.
  • Any care for Ditzy is rather obviously not mitigating, with it being an obsession where Dark sees her as a powerful weapon that he needs to control at all costs.
