	~ Tau Zant summoned back by the Evil Will to face the Hurricanegers.

Boss Tau Zant is the leader of the Jakanja and the main antagonist of Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger. He is a malevolent centipede-like alien who seeks to invoke the Evil Will to destroy the universe and recreate it with him as god.

He was voiced by the late Kiyoyuki Yanada, who also voiced Yogoshimacritein in Engine Sentai Go-onger.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?

• Created his Ninja group Jakanja to awake the Evil Will and destroy and recreate the universe under his control.
• Had the Hayate and Ikazuchi ninja schools wiped out (with the only survivors being the ones who became the Hurricanegers and the Gouraigers and Sensei Mugensai Hinata).
• Manipulated the Gouraigers.
• Tortured Second Spear, Chuzubou for his failure (which he allows to) consigned with the Gouraigers defection.
• Allowed Sargain to be killed by Sandaaru when he no longer needed him. He also allowed Sakatakura to be manipulated, all showing a lack of care for his generals.
• Tried to destroy the universe with a wormhole, using the Raging Arrow, Grieving Bow, and the sadness and anger of humans absorbed by Sakatakura.
• Lets the Evil Will absorb him after being betrayed by Saandaaru, so he can be its host in causing destruction, thus being responsible from what it does for the rest of the series.
• While the Evil Will is a generic doomsday villain, Tau Zant is a character with a strong and evil personality and is the one who sought to find the Evil Will for his own goals.

Notes

• He is one of three Pure Evils in Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger, along with Sandaaru and Manmaruba.
• The closest to a Power Rangers counterpart, Lothor, is way too comedic to count as Pure Evil, unlike Tau Zant who is always played deadly serious. His ultimate form is used for the Lothorzord, who also obviously doesn't count since he is a Zord without any personality and is piloted by Lothor.
