Talbert Skyler is the main antagonist of the 2004 action-comedy film, Blast!. He is a thief who decided to murder Michael Kitredge, an environmental activist, and steal his identity in order to sneak onto an oil rig, where he has hidden an EMP that allow him to cover his tracks after stealing billions of dollars.
He was played by Vinnie Jones, who also played Ewan McStarley from The Condemned.
What makes him Pure Evil?[]
- He was a master thief who took on organized heists for money, even holding down a ski resort.
- He murdered environmental activist Michael Kitredge and assumed his identity for a heist on an oil rig.
- Once on an oil rig, he held everyone hostage with his crew.
- He held a video call with the CEO, Mr. Heller, and demanded he take responsibility for polluting the California Coast or he will execute the hostages.
- He had Dixon's oil crew killed when they try to escape by getting his henchmen to gun them down.
- He had Navy Seals killed by throwing flares and having his men shoot at them.
- Her tried to have Jamal torture Dixon by electrocuting his balls out of a belief he is an FBI agent.
- When Jamal is revealed to be the true agent, he shot at him and Dixon and threw a grenade down the elevator shaft when they tried to escape.
- When he realized that Eric is Dixon's adoptive son, he killed the doctor for letting him escape and had his men try to kill Eric.
- He tried to send his men to kill Dixon and Jamal when they have the guy who has the codes for the EMP.
- He tried wiring billions of dollars into his account and set of an EMP that will cover his tracks which would also cause several plane crashes and hospital outages, taking several lives and causing a "9/11 all over California".
- When Dixon informed Skyler of this, he made it clear he doesn't care.
- He tried to kill the heroes when they stop him from using the EMP.
- Despite presenting himself as a well-intended extremist who just wants to protect the earth, this is just a facade for his true goal of greed.
- While he isn't a bad boss, he still doesn't care about his henchmen as he reacts with apathy to their deaths such as his henchwomen being crushed to death.
