The Stepmother is the main antagonist in the German fairytale The Juniper Tree, written by the Grimm Brothers.
What Makes Her Pure Evil[]
- Jealous of her stepson that would be the one to inherit the wealth instead of her daughter, the Stepmother abuses him every day he comes home from school, despite crying in his sleep every night.
- Beheaded her own stepson by closing the lid of the chest with the apple in it.
- Feels no remorse for killing her stepson and cares solely on getting found out.
- Tricking Marlene into thinking she killed the stepson after having her hit his severed head off his body which she had tied to his body with a scarf.
- To get rid of the body, she cooked her stepson into stew for her husband to eat his son, and never wasn't aware of his death.
- Lying to her husband and telling him that the stepson was visiting his uncle.
- Despite she claims it was the "raging fires that were burning her insides" caused her to became evil, it still didn't justify her actions if she could've asked for help.

- Out of all the wicked stepmothers, she is the worst of them all and the only character to be Pure Evil.
