Nobody forgets me anymore! There's a dozen destroyed planets with my name on them! Yours is gonna join 'em real soon. But first, I'm gonna take away the one thing you actually care about.
~ Soundblaster taunting Soundwave before stealing Laserbeak

Soundblaster is the secondary antagonist of the Transformers: Cyberverse TV film Transformers Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures: The Immobilizers.

He is the ruthlessly petty second-in-command of the Mercenaries, being more active as leader than his employer, Trypticon, who leads the raids on multiple planets that ends up destroying them. He is Soundwave's archnemesis.

He was voiced by Marc Thompson, who also voiced Megatron X in the same show and Malekith the Accursed in the Thor: The Dark World video game adaptation.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • Soundblaster has perhaps one of the most laughable and petty excuses a villain could ever have, even by "poor and petty excuse" standards, having been motivated solely by Soundwave beating him in what is tantamount to a beatboxing competition and taking his place as the Decepticons' beatboxing champion.
    • Despite how ludicrous this excuse is, it isn't as ridiculous as it sounds by being more of an epic battle using soundwaves rather than an actual beatboxing competition, otherwise his pettiness would be too comical and cast doubts on how serious of a threat the story treats him. Therefore, his character can be taken seriously.
  • Soundblaster has a major role in the destruction of at least a dozen planets, having been the one that personally led the planet-destroying raids, and the only one confirmed to take immense pride in such acts.
    • The Dinobots' homeworld is among them, with its destruction being shown onscreen.
  • Has no care for his teammates at all, shown when he freezes Bug Bite with his time freezing ray without being fazed by it at all.
  • Out of his petty grudge against Soundwave, he targets his own native planet for destruction.
  • In order to get personal to Soundwave, Soundblaster takes Laserbeak's chip, and unfreezes him to make sure he can feel the pain as he forcibly takes him to his prison and detains him just so he can take away the only thing he really cares about.
  • Kicks Soundwave after unfreezing him to an infinite resonator so he can be tortured to death by multiple soundwaves that amplify over and over again to the point of violently shaking and eventually shattering thanks to the trauma. Both this and the previous act were all out of his own free will and not out of orders by Trypticon.
  • When he ends up freezing his pet bird Buzzsaw by accident, rather than showing any genuine concern and try unfreezing him, Soundblaster then tries targeting Volcanicus instead, showing he didn't even care for him.
  • While his second-in-command, Soundblaster is merely professional with him, he was not concerned when he saw Volcanicus presumably kill Trypticon, only being concerned about his own life.
  • Considering how the story ends, he was never punished for any of his actions, and will most likely continue raiding multiple planets and destroying them.

Trivia[]

  • He is the only incarnation of Soundblaster to be Pure Evil.
