“ | But loss is part of growing up, isn't it? Part of growing up is accepting the inevitability of death. The inevitability, Mr. Miller, of death. My father told me that. You will be a hero to your children too. I hope that gives you comfort. | „ |

~ Solomon after killing Montes. |
Solomon is the main antagonist of the 2011 video game Battlefield 3 and its novel adaptation Battlefield 3: The Russian, and the posthumous overarching antagonist of the game's 2013 sequel Battlefield 4. He was a former operative of the Central Intelligence Agency and the field commander of the People's Liberation and Resistance, and Sergeant Henry Blackburn's archnemesis.
He was portrayed in motion capture by Mark Ivanir, who also voiced The Doctor in Metro Exodus.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- While he was 16, Solomon slaughtered his bullies with a machete. This was his first act of murder.
- Despite being imprisoned at the high-security prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Solomon, being as clever as he is, offered intelligence on terrorist cells and intelligence from working GRU in order to be released.
- He incited the global conflict between United States and Russia by staging a coup d'état in Iran along with PLR.
- He obtained a pair of nuclear devices from Amir Kaffarov and kept them both at a depository.
- He is indirectly responsible of the detonation of one of the nuclear bombs by his terror cell in Paris, killing 80,000 people in the process.
- When the PLR filmed Sergeant Jonathan Miller after capturing him, Solomon mocked him about his coming death, and the grief it will bring to Miller's family, then he executed Miller on video by cutting his throat and sent it to the Americans, where Blackburn watches it.
- At the end of the game, he killed Sergeant Henry Blackburn's squadmate, David Montes before attempting to detonate the other nuclear device in New York City.
- Solomon also attempted to start World War Three by blowing up New York City, being completely uncaring towards the massive amounts of casualties it would bring even if he had to die in the explosion himself.
- Solomon abandons anyone he worked with as attested by Faruk Al-Bashir, whom Solomon used to obtain the nukes.
- There is no indication of Solomon's well-intentioned extremism. He didn't excuse or justify his acts. Even his so-called revenge is merely a hollow excuse.
- Although Solomon's plans are foiled, this lead the events of Battlefield 4 where the US and Russia continued to clash each other with China as the third party involved.
- While he was bullied as a kid, this is far too petty to justify all of the heinous crimes that Solomon would go onto commit and he doesn't seem to be affected by his tragedy or motivated by it anymore. He also already got revenge for being bullied by murdering them to begin with, making his past even less justifiable.
