The Snake of Clearing Eyes is the main antagonist of the Kagerou Project franchise. It is one of the snakes of Azami and was the one who suggested creating the Heat Haze to her.
It is voiced by Mamoru Miyano in it's snake form, and by the late Keiji Fujiwara while possessing Kenjirou.
What Makes It Pure Evil[]
- It causes all the characters to go through a horrifying time loop so it can continuously sustain its immortality.
- It seals away Azami away within the Heat Haze.
- It manipulates Kenjirou Tateyama that by letting it possess half of his brain, it can bring his wife back to life. It instead possesses him completely.
- It tricks Ayano Tateyama into killing herself by jumping from the school roof so it wouldn't obtain her fragment, but it didn't need it for its final plan and mocked her.
- After Shuuya Kano witnesses Ayano's suicide, it orders him to assist it or else it would kill everyone else he loves.
- It kills everyone he loves anyways.
- In nearly every timeline, it drives Marry into despair by sadistically murdering her friends.
