Skeletor is the main antagonist of the 2002 cartoon He-Man and the Masters of The Universe, a reboot the original 1983 Masters of the Universe franchise.
He was once known as Keldor until he sold his soul to Hordak in exchange for more power and was transformed into Skeletor. With his newfound dark powers, Skeletor seeks to overthrow King Randor and take over Eternia, and the rest of the universe, for himself. He is the arch enemy of his nephew Prince Adam/He-Man.
He is voiced by Brian Dobson.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Broke into the Hall of Wisdom and attempted to kill his half brother, King Randor via acid.
- Destroyed the Mystical Wall and made his attempts into making his next move on Eternia, torturing Randor for information about the Power of the Elders.
- Tries killing Randor by throwing him off a mountain as a tactic, barely being saved by He-Man.
- Despite being grateful of being alive thanks to Hordak, he destroyed his entire sanctuary to prevent him from ever returning. Possibly it was to make sure he continues his atrocities without the need for him.
- Trying to manipulate the Andreenids and Avions into going to war against each other to steal the Andreenids' Ambrosia supplies, leading to hundreds of potential deaths.
- Trying to gain more territories by razing and taking over several villages near his mountain.
- Attacked a major village with bug creatures, hellbent on killing everyone inside to lure He-Man into a trap.
- Tries using a volcano to plunge Eternia into darkness and has the Shadow Beasts attack the palace of Eternia and Castle Gray Skull.
- Heavily abusing his minions by torturing them, including Tri-Klops who did nothing to displease Skeletor, willingly trying to sacrifice his minion Evil-Lyn to eldritch horrors in exchange for their service, and sics the aforementioned Shadow Beasts onto his minions.
- Trying to take control of a machine that was connected by an old wizard by taking his life support away.
- Attempted to kill He-Man and his friends multiple times.
- Although his mutation into Skeletor after having his face melted off is horrible, he brought it onto himself in the first place by trying to kill King Randor and embraced the transformation, thus preventing this from being redeeming in any way.
Trivia[]
- He, alongside his original counterpart and the 2018 version of Horde Prime, are the only three Masters of the Universe franchise villains to be Pure Evil.
