Shane Bommer is the main antagonist in the video game inFamous: First Light. He is the leader of the dealers and a former ally of Abigail "Fetch" Walker, and later becomes an pivotal enemy when he tricks her into killing her brother, Brent.
He was voiced by Travis Willingham, who also played Scabrous Scrotus in Mad Max and the Large Rattler in The Last of Us Part II.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He manipulates Abigail into starting a gang war against the Akurans, killing many of them. Although the Akurans were human traffickers so their deaths were technically well-deserved, this wasn't the reason Shane had them killed as he simply wanted to take over their turf for himself. Furthermore, it's also implied that Shane took the Akurans' trafficking victims for himself, as one of Shane's employees, Jenny, notes that he "keeps moving prisoners around".
- After kidnapping Brent, Shane kills Jenny simply for trying to help Abigail get her brother back. He also threatens to cut off Brent's ear or tooth if Abigail doesn't comply to his demands, and even sadistically offers to let her choose which one.
- He orders Abigail to cause major destruction on the streets, killing several cops in order to blackmail the police chief into working for him.
- He then tries to kill Abigail with a makeshift gas chamber instead of keeping his word to give Brent back once she outlives her usefulness, showing that he has no honor whatsoever.
- He drugs Abigail into accidentally killing Brent, her own brother, and shows no remorse for it when cornered on a clifftop, using his last moments of life to mock her mistake.
- While the heinous standard of inFamous is fairly high, Shane stands out in his own way since he's just a normal human being instead of a Conduit. His actions also had a massive impact on Abigail's psyche, who became a vigilante serial killer of drug dealers after Brent's death.

- Shane is one of the only two villains in the inFamous franchise to be Pure Evil, alongside Joseph Bertrand III.
