Well perhaps I can let you folks in on a secret. Remember me telling Jimbo Jones that I would make something of him one day?
~ Principal Skinner revealing to Krabappel he killed Jimbo.
I'm going to enjoy devouring you, Bart Simpson. Yes, I believe I'll start as you've so often suggested... eating your shorts.
~ Principal Skinner taunting Bart about his plans to kill him.

Armin Tamzarian, better known as Principal Seymour Skinner, is the main antagonist of "Nightmare Cafeteria", the third segment of The Simpsons Halloween special "Treehouse of Horror V".

He is the principal of the Springfield Elementary School much like his canon counterpart. However, after getting fed up with dealing with irresponsible and disobedient students, Skinner resolves to start cannibalizing the students in detention by turning them into food for him, the teachers and the rest of the students until they are also cooked.

Like his original counterpart, he was voiced by Harry Shearer.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • Even before becoming an sadistic cannibal, he was a very corrupt principal who has put many children in detention for petty reasons, like putting together a paper airplane, with Skinner not caring about them all being cramped together and almost out of oxygen.
  • While he tried to stop Doris from making F-class meat, this is not a standard and merely an attempt to try and make the school look better.
  • After Jimbo Jones was smeared by the contents of Lunchlady Doris' pot and Skinner licked him off, he sent Jimbo into the kitchen to help Doris with the food, then murdered him, grinded him up, turned his remains into hamburgers and ate them together with the rest of the teachers.
  • He punished Üter Zörker for "7 minutes a pound", then murdered him and turned his remains into sausages for the school children, including Bart and Lisa, to inadvertently eat, with him laughing while he accidentally told Bart and Lisa.
  • He sent several children to "permanent detention" and then caged them to eat them later, which is why the entire room was almost empty once Bart and Lisa return to school.
    • He also had several children playing out in the fields to fatten them up.
  • He killed Willie the Groundskeeper with an axe to the back when he came to rescue Bart, Lisa and Milhouse.
    • This also means he does not care about the other staff members and is more than willing to kill them if they go against his goals, meaning their relationship is purely pragmatic.
  • He prepared to eat Bart, Lisa and Milhouse while sadistically revealing his intention to devour Bart's shorts first.
  • He sent Bart, Lisa, and Milhouse to the shredder so he could grind them up, killing them and possibly eating their remains later.
  • While he has several comedic moments, such as him unintentionally telling Bart and Lisa that he ate Üter and laughing before saying "wait, scratch that one", him killing Willie with an axe as part of a running gag in the episode where Willie dies in all the segments in the same way, and him telling Bart he is going to enjoy eating his shorts, he’s still taken completely seriously as a threat in-universe.
  • While one could argue he doesn't stand out from the rest of the school staff, this isn't the case as he was the first one to taste a student, giving him the idea to turn them into meals and feeding Jimbo to everyone else. It should also be noted that he is the one who gave them the idea to become cannibals in the first place.
  • Unlike the original Principal Skinner, who is an occasional jerk but ultimately a well-intentioned school principal who only wants the best for Springfield Elementary, this version of Skinner is nothing more than a sadistic sociopath who eats children for fun. There’s also no evidence that he has the same sympathetic background as the original Skinner.
  • His allyship with the staff is purely pragmatic, with no indication that he genuinely sees them as friends.
