Silly little planet. I could rule the place with the right set of mammary glands.
~ Serleena after taking over MIB headquarters.

Oh yummy. Someone I need to eat.
~ Serleena showing her predatory nature as she realizes J and K are here.
Oops… teeth.
~ Serleena’s last words before getting eaten by Jeff.

Serleena Xath (simply known as Serleena) is the main antagonist of the 2002 sci-fi comedy film Men in Black II. She is the queen of the Kylothians, bent on finding the Light of Zartha, so that she can destroy the planets Zartha and Earth.

She was portrayed by Lara Flynn Boyle.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]

  • She killed Zarthan Queen Lauranna out of pettiness for Agent K sending the Light of Zartha somewhere else by gunning her down.
  • She destroys many planets in creative tactics as she was searching for the Light of Zartha for 30 years.
  • She scares off a dog named Harvey as the pet was only just a harmless animal.
  • She kills a mugger named Creepy when he was planning on raping her and stealing his clothes so she can blend in with the human race without any suspicion. (Although it can be fair he did deserve it since he was nothing but a rapist).
  • She is shown to be very abusive to her main henchman to Scrad & Charlie, using her finger tentacles in their ears to get information on the Light of Zartha even when they are clearly in pain.
  • Murdering the owner of Ben's Pizzeria named Ben after getting no information of the whereabouts of the Light of Zartha, before leaving the restaurant she steals some pizza for herself and steps on Ben's dead corpse as part of her cruelty.
  • She attacks the Men In Black Headquarters by infesting her tentacles all over the place and imprisoned the majority of the personnel in cages surrounded by the tentacles.
  • She jailbreaks all other prisoners from the their prison cells in order to search for Agent K to get his memories back.
  • At first, Serleena wishes she was the girlfriend of Zed who is the Chief of the Men In Black, although this was just a ruse and Zed clearly returns the favour by saying just "a pile of squirmy crap in a different wrapper".
  • She kidnaps Frank and tricks Agent J with his communicator.
  • She programs the Gatbot which is a heavily-armed robot used to in an attempt to stop Agents J and K from rescuing Laura Vasquez.
  • Although she seemingly bonds with Jarra, it's only because he’s either an effective tool/weapon for her or is more likely he just wants to get even with Agent J for locking him up as he tried to steal the Earth's ozone to sell on the black market.
  • She taunts Agent K for his deceased lover Lauranna and his failures. She sticks her alien tongue in his ear, only for him to show disgust.
  • She kills Jeff from the inside, while taking on his form in attempt to stop Laura from leaving and attempting to kill Agent J.
  • Attempting to kill Laura Vasquez when she is about to depart from Earth to her home planet, which would result in both Earth and Zartha’s destruction.
  • Despite her having some comedic moments and fanservice, she is still mostly taken seriously, especially because her comedy is never exclusive from her cruelty and more often than not emphasizes it.
