Secretary Wilson is the main antagonist of the first season of the 2021 Netflix animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
He is a former major general and commanding officer in the U.S. Army and Secretary of Defense for the Graham Administration. But he works with a pharmaceutical company known as Tricell that wants to create bio-organic weapons for military use.
He was voiced by Aruno Tahara in Japanese and Doug Stone in English.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Partnered up with the pharmaceutical company Tricell to develop his own secret BOW project. this time making his own super-soldiers using a modified strain of the T-Virus to make the combat more effective.
- Forcefully infected a squad of U.S. Army operators "Alpha Two" with the virus. which made them stronger, but an unfortunate side effect of the virus is that they will eventually mutate into zombies if suppressants aren't injected regularly. which were provided by Tricell.
- To test out the virus's effectiveness. Wilson deployed the squad into Penamstan during the Civil war when the U.S. intervened. However it goes south as the Alpha Two helicopter was shot down and without suppressants the soldiers turned into zombies. which started an outbreak. to cover up Wilson's tracks he had the city blown up.
- When he learned of the U.S. army squad the "Mad Dogs" that unfortunately also got infected trying to save the "Alpha Two" squad, Wilson blackmailed them into doing his dirty work in exchange for suppressants which would not turn them into monsters. after this Wilson was promoted to Mayor General and later to the Secretary of Defense in the early 2000s.
- Continued working with Tricell and made a secret giant research complex under the Andrews Air Force Base. which stored Hundreds of Soldiers who were kidnapped and injected with the virus. also during the years, one by one the Mad Dogs were killed, with one blowing his brains out, until only one is left the "hero of Penamstan"; Jason.
- in 2006, One of the servers was compromised which contained military secrets and many other files. Wilson sent in zombies to the White house to make it look like it was an assassination attempt on the POTUS Graham and frame China for it to start a war.
- Manipulates Graham to investigate a facility in Shanghai, which Graham approves on, and sends Jason, Shen May & Leon Kennedy to the facility by Submarine, but there were rats infected with the virus which killed off most of the crew, except for plot armored Leon, Shen May & Jason.
- Has a Terrasave worker Claire Redfield Kidnapped who was investigating the Disappearances of the Mad Dogs, and taken to his research facility.
- He offered her whatever she wanted in exchange of whatever she wanted, but Claire refuses, Wilson threatened her that President Graham will start a war with China, and the Us government will send the military to Penamstan, where Wilson intends to move his BOWS there in china and infect the citizens with the virus and then open a market for the virus suppressants for profit.
- Confronted by Jason, who betrays Wilson and mutates into a monster and bites Wilson, Wilson cowardly runs away knowing he is infected and needs inhibitors to not turn himself into a zombie or a monster.
- Has the research facility destroyed with acid, with his hundreds of super soldiers melting into nothing,
- In the end his efforts of starting a war with China are in vain as in the last minute Graham before making his speech to take a stance against China, is told that Wilson was behind all the attacks, in the white house & the submarine.
- He is seen injecting an inhibitor in himself from Tricell, and is never seen or mentioned after that. However given Tricell dismantled in 2009 & that he is an old man its probably safe to say that he is probably dead or a zombie at this point.
- Overall just a generic one dimensional, power hungry, greedy, corrupt official. that's it. he is seen to be affable to the president but it is very obviously fake friendliness, he also nuked a city in Penamstan to prevent an outbreak, but it was to cover his own tracks so it isn't extremism.
- He also claims that he is doing this all for the nations security which is a complete lie as he is only doing this for money so this isn't extremism either.
- Despite Resident Evil's very high heinous standard Wilson passes as he intends to start a war with China and deploy his super soldiers there, where they get infected & a sacrifice billions of lives to sell the suppressants to the infected people so he can fill his own pockets with money. that also goes without saying how he nuked a city to cover his tracks & the hundreds of soldiers he infected.
