Satan is the main antagonist of the 1999 action/terror film End of Days. He is a demonic fallen angel and the ruler of Hell.
He was portrayed by Gabriel Byrne.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He was once an angel who willingly rebelled against God to become the lord of Hell, which keeps him from being Made of Evil.
- He uses a Wall Street banker as his host to achieve his plan. He later kisses the wife of the banker's friend in front of said friend and blows up the entire restaurant upon walking out.
- He raped and harassed various women in his way.
- Plans to rape Christine to conceive the Antichrist, who will open the gates of Hell and bring the End of Days.
- He psychologically tormented Christine with frightening images that foreshadowed his rape of her.
- Enters the hospital and crucifies Thomas Aquinas on the ceiling.
- Tries to tempt Jericho into giving up Christine in exchange for having his dead family back, also playing a visual re-enactment of their murder just to torment him.
- When Jericho refuses his offer, Satan tries to drop him to his death from a window.
- He burns Bobby alive when he refuses his order to kill Jericho.
- Abandons his host to die once he's mortally wounded.
- Possesses Jericho and attempts to rape Christine before Jericho finally manages to take control of his body and sacrifice himself.
