What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He killed the previous pope Solemnis with poison so he could take his position as the leader of the Order of the Sword.
- He attempted to use Dante's blood to open the hell gates to unleash the demons into the city.
- After Nero turned out to have demonic power, he used Kyrie as a hostage to lure Nero to the Savior to use his blood to open the Hell gate.
- Despite his claims of being loyal to the knight Sparda, who he and his followers worships as a god, he has no qualms about trying to kill Dante and Nero, who are Sparda's kin. Regardless if he knew or not, he still would've gone through with it.
- He killed Credo, his servant, and mocked his love for his sister, Kyrie, calling it a foolish reason to betray him.
- He unleashed the demons into the city causing widespread death and destruction so that he could "save" them from the Demons with his order to make them look like heroes.
- He planned on using the Savior to take over mankind and rule them as a god.
- He attempted to kill Dante and once Nero was free used Kyrie as a hostage again.
- Despite claiming he will make a better world in reality he only cares about himself and obtaining absolute power.
