"I love you", he repeats. He doesn’t know why he loves her still, after everything she’s done to him. Shouldn't he hate her? Why doesn't he hate her?
"Because you would rather be treated like shit then risk being alone", says a voice deep inside him, and all at once he longs for the other life, the one where she's magically repaired.

~ Francis' inner monologue before killing Lilly.
Tell me the truth.
~ Lilly to Francis.

Lilly, better known as SCP-4231-A or SCP-231-1, is an antagonist in the SCP Foundation series. She is a powerful reality bender who serves the Scarlet King, the wife of Francis Wojciechoski (later known as Alto Clef), mother of SCP-166 and creator of SCP-231 and SCP-2317.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]

  • While her relationship with Francis appeared to be mutually loving at first, as she got older she became more uncaring and emotionally abusive, at one point sexually assaulting him and then refusing to speak to him for a week when he resisted. This particular incident left him traumatized for over a year.
  • Her abuse later escalated, starting with verbal abuse where she would constantly mock, berate, insult and gaslight Francis, before escalating further to physical and sexual violence which left him bruised and malnourished.
  • She became a follower of the evil Scarlet King and, planning to summon him to destroy the world, kidnapped six girls, locked them within a large underground shrine and subjected them to unspeakable torture which left them impregnated with horrific monsters, resulting in the creation of a door to the dimension where the Devourer of Worlds was locked (SCP-2317) so that it could destroy Earth when freed.
  • She used her reality bending powers to cause the Cornwall Incident in which 1200 people were boiled alive.
  • Even after she was killed by Francis, her horrific treatment of the six girls forced the Foundation to classify them SCP-231 and subject them to the unspeakably horrific Procedure 110-Montauk in order to prevent them from birthing monsters that would destroy the world, which ultimately resulted in the deaths of five of the girls.
    • Her creation of SCP-2317 also makes her responsible for the inevitable destruction of the world when SCP-2317-K's final chain breaks.
