SCP-106, also known as Corporal Lawrence and The Old Man, is a supporting antagonist in the SCP Mythos.
He is a Keter-class humanoid SCP object contained by the SCP Foundation. He also appears as the secondary antagonist of the video game SCP: Containment Breach and its remake.
In Containment Breach, he was voiced by an uncredited Mark J. Hadley, who also voiced the Slender Man in Slender.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- While it's ultimately left ambiguous if he was corrupted into becoming the monster he is today, he clearly takes great sadistic joy in what he does, and seems to be fully aware of his actions, therefore overriding any tragedy he may have experienced.
- He attempted to rape a nurse out of sheer sadism, causing her to get mutilated and blinded by his corrosive fluid.
- He regularly stalks and tortures people, including children, and is implied to take some form of sexual pleasure from it.
- He usually pulls people into his pocket dimension and watches them struggle to get out for hours to days.
- His attraction to screaming shows how sadistic he is in that the sound itself garners pleasure from him.
- When he escaped one Halloween, he killed a teenage girl, a group of children, a boy and his mother, and an MTF agent who he tortured for four days beforehand. Afterwards, he sadistically sorted their remains like a child after trick-or-treating would with candy.
- Despite the very high heinous standard of the SCP Foundation, he passes due to his low resources and mass torture of hundreds of people in a fate worse than death.
Trivia[]
- Only Dr. Gears' original version of his character is PE (which would include his article, "The Young Man" and "Treats"), as the alternate versions of the character presented in "Until Death," "Once But Not Now" and SCP-978's article portray him as a tragic character with sympathetic qualities.
