Robogog of the 10-sai is the secondary antagonist in Tensou Sentai Goseiger. He is the leader of the Matrintis Empire who seeks to take over the world and rule over humanity.
He was voiced by Jūrōta Kosugi.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- While he may have been rejected by his fellow humans for his experiments, that's too petty to excuse anything he did.
- When members of Robogog's human civilization called out for help after the Earth's crust shifted, threatening to wipe out the civilization, he deliberately refused to come to their aide and let them perish out of spite and hatred.
- Secretly used the previous two organisations.
- Seeks to enslave the world's humans out of a belief that fear and machines should rule over them, one of his plans involving converting some of them into cyborg soldiers and making prison camps for them.
- Abuses and tortures his creations and henchman via stomping and verbal insults when they fail him even though being their creator, all the faults should come towards him. He even had a Punishment Bomb built in Metal Alice when she fails in a personal attack.
- Brainwashes and resurrects Brajira of the Messiah as Buredo-RUN of the Cyborg even while knowing all the chaos Brajira could cause even under brainwashing with his ambitious and dangerous nature.
- Used Buredo-RUN's ability to seal the Tensouders and Leon Cellar just so he can finish the Goseigers and Gosei Knight off with the Calamity Destruction attack, even if it means destroy the city with the earthquake it causes.
- Not even Metal Alice sacrificing herself for him or learning that she turned against him as a result of his abuse doesn't affect him at all, and he still calls her low spec trash.
- When given the chance to make peace by Gosei Red who learns he is human, he laughs it off as "proof" of humanity's foolishness and decides to destroy one-tenth of the world by self-destructing, showing the extent of his misanthropic depravity.
- His death by Brajira is played for karma and satisfaction. And while the Goseigers were taken aback by it, it was only because of its brutality rather than sympathy and they ultimately don't mourn him and are relieved he's gone.
Trivia[]
- His title "10 - Sai" can be translated into disaster which also happens to be what makes him cross the Moral Event Horizon.
- Robogog is one of two Goseiger Pure Evils with the other being Brajira of the Messiah.
- He is also the only evil organisation leader to qualify, as he has none of the previous two bosses good qualities while Brajira, while he works for all the three organisations, is not the leader of any of them.
- His Power Rangers counterpart: The Messenger, does not share Robogog's Pure Evil status as he was a mere henchman with genuine loyalty to his superiors and has only committed standard villainy throughout Megaforce.
