A version of Bruce Wayne, known as the Robin King, is a supervillain in the DC Comics universe who is a major antagonist of the "Dark Nights: Death Metal" arc.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • He was born evil, torturing Alfred with his rattle.
  • When he was young, he developed a tendency to torture animals, craft weapons, and assaulting/killing other people.
  • Unlike most versions of Bruce Wayne, his parents weren't killed by Joe Chill. Bruce actually slit his throat with a hidden knife and shot his own parents dead. He then frames Joe Chill for their deaths.
  • When Officer Gordon confronts him, when he knows that it was him who killed his parents, Bruce kills him.
  • He battles Alfred and kills him before proclaiming himself as the Robin King.
  • Modifying the Anti-Life Equation to be able to turn people into life-devouring Anti-Living creatures.
  • Covering the body of Barry Allen's mother with a Speed-Force-cancelling toxin and stuffing it inside the Flash's ring.
  • Firing Jonah Hex with a Debrider bullet and then stabbing him with a knife, killing him.
  • He killed several heroes in his world and the Prime DC Universe.
  • His worst crime, however, is when he willingly assists The Batman Who Laughs in plunging the multiverse into darkness as his chief lieutenant.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike other versions of Bruce Wayne from the Dark Multiverse, the Robin King is evil by nature as opposed to losing his moral code through outside circumstances.
  • The Robin King represents Bruce’s fear that he was always broken deep inside and that the death of his parents was ultimately just an excuse to unleash the darkness and violence that was always inside of him.
  • The Robin King is one of the only three versions of Bruce Wayne, along with The Batman Who Laughs and the one seen in Catwoman: Guardian of Gotham, to be Pure Evil.
