~ Retak'ka taunting BoBoiBoy Solar. |
Retak'ka is the overarching antagonist of the BoBoiBoy franchise, as well as the main antagonist of the 2019 Malaysian computer-animated film BoBoiBoy Movie 2 and the posthumous overarching antagonist of the second season of BoBoiBoy Galaxy. He is the alleged original owner of the Elemental powers, and he returns to take those powers back from BoBoiBoy.
What makes him Pure Evil?[]
- He killed King Balakung, Panglima Pyrapi, Mas Mawais, and Satriantar while seriously injuring Kuputeri before stealing their Elemental powers out of his selfish desire to gather more Elements. This resulted in Emperor Reramos overthrowing Kuputeri's position as Emperor of Planet Windara during her long absence, the friction between both Flame and Snow Tribes created by Pak Pato, and Ochobot not knowing that some of the elements that he was currently possessing were completely stolen once Hang Kasa utilized him to remove Retak'ka's elements.
- He went to destroy entire planets just to become stronger by draining elemental energy from them.
- Forced the Crystal Miners to work for him and help him get his elemental powers back from BoBoiBoy. Although they expressed loyalty to him, he wasn't shown to have care for them back.
- He forced Koko Ci and Tarung to reveal BoBoiBoy's location by destroying the TAPOPS station and badly beating them.
- Told Gogobi to detonate the already destroyed TAPOPS station with Fang, Yaya, and Ying on it, which could have killed them if Captain Kaizo didn't come to save them in time.
- Temporarily stole BoBoiBoy's Elemental powers, except for Blaze and Ice.
- Defeated and killed all the Guruhan Army while planning to drain the Lightning Elemental power there, rendering the planet defenseless in the long term. This would eventually lead to Kira'na's descent into villainy.
- Trapped the TAPOPS craft containing the surviving Cendawa Tribesmen in his Darkwood form when about to absorb Planet Rimbara's elements.
- Attempted to kill Hang Kasa when he saved BoBoiBoy.
- Destroyed a nearby dam with his Darkwood form and call his assailants "puny brats" after refusing to accept defeat from being beaten by BoBoiBoy's gang.
- Attempted to drain all lives on Earth just to upgrade his powers so that he could become the supreme Master of the Elements.
- His only Freudian Excuse was that he was abandoned by his parents in a garbage dump before he later befriended Hang Kasa. However, when both of them found two Power Spheres and became powerful, instead of being grateful over what he has, like his friendship with Hang Kasa, Retak'ka became greedy and power-hungry as he grew up due to his hatred of being weak, which is what he could've become in the movie, making his motive a selfish one since he had lost whatever that is left to be sympathetic. This also caused himself to betray Hang Kasa, who was his former childhood friend. By extension, it causes himself to look down on others by viewing them as weaklings and powerless individuals while holding a stance of "crab mentality", where if one can't be powerful, no one can.
- Overall, Retak'ka's actions led to the creation of BoBoiBoy's gang as Ochobot was the one to eventually possess his stolen Elements leading to him being abandoned on Ata Ta Tiga after Hang Kasa took Retak'ka's elements, where it would find its way onto Earth when Amato ordered it for BoBoiBoy where it chose him to be worthy of the Elements.
- His actions caused BoBoiBoy to grow increasingly traumatized over the events of the second movie as he became afraid of using his third-tier powers, causing him to lose control over his Tempest powers. Despite this, he managed to let go of this fear with the help of his friends and finally unlocked the third-tier of the Leaf elemental power, which is BoBoiBoy Jungle.
- He stands out as the most heinous and influential villain of the series, willing to endanger planets for the sake of Power-Hungry purposes.
