It is most unwise to question me under any circumstances! What a pity you shall not learn from your mistake. I once told our beloved Führer a dead man was of no use, while a living one could be retrained. However, that was in a day when the Reich had time for such small niceties. In these grim days there time for nothing that will not serve to accelerate the final victory of the fatherland.
~ Red Skull while killing one of his own men.
I have severed the control cables, preventing you from closing the bomb bay doors. There is nothing you can do to stop me from unleashing the power of the atom against your puny capitol! Since the American government has chosen to keep this weapon a secret from the people, they will naturally assume it is some Nazi super-bomb. The resultant destruction will so demoralize America that your troops will crumple before the last, heroic surge of the armies of the Third Reich!
~ Red Skull revealing his plans for the Fat Boy nuke.

Johann Shmidt, best known as the Red Skull, is one of the two main antagonists in Batman & Captain America, alongside the Joker.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • He kills one of his own men with the Dust of Death just for questioning him.
  • He hires Joker to kill dozens of military soldiers and then steal a Fat Man, promising to pay him $1,000,000, a bargain that Red Skull had no intention of bargaining, instead planning to parade him through the streets of Berlin just to spite the Americans.
    • During this moment, Joker expresses sheer disgust and contempt for Red Skull due to being a Nazi, showing that even he has standards.
  • He tries to conquer the U.S.A. and thus win World War ll by nuking Washington, D.C., with a Fat Man, knowing full well it'd contaminate everything within a 50-mile radius as well.
    • Even when defeated, Red Skull smugly gloats when Captain America's about to drop the nuke into the ocean, which would still kill countless people.
