Red Skull is a supporting antagonist in the animated TV shows Spider-Man (1981) and Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, serving as the main antagonist of the episodes "Quest of the Red Skull" and "The Capture of Captain America".

He was voiced by Peter Cullen.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • After he invades into his house and steals the Scorpio engraving, Red Skull attempts to feed Professor Hiawatha Smith to his python,
  • He then reveals his intent to start World War III and to become "the next Hitler".
  • When the Spider-Friends come to South America in order to stop his plans, Red Skull orders his henchmen to use explosives to trap them underground and then have them killed using a drill tank.
  • He captures the Spider-Friends and then ties them to missiles, and then reveals his intentions to fire rockets at the USA , and then tricking them into thinking it was the Soviet Union, therefore causing the USA to attack the Union and resulting in the deaths of millions and would leave Red Skull as the only figure the people would look up to.
  • When Hiawatha Smith saves Firestar, Red Skull then fires the rockets Spider-Man and Iceman are on and attempts to have it hit the USA.
  • After Spider-Man offers to save him, Red Skull then attempts to claim the treasure anyways.
  • In his next appearance, he fires at a crowd using lasers and kidnaps Captain America to take him to his castle.
  • After demonstrating a mind swapping device on a cat and a dog, he then reveals his intentions to Captain America to swap their bodies and have Captain America to be trapped in Red Skull’s body forever.
  • When Spider-Man shows up and saves Captain America, Red Skull tries to kill them both using lasers
