I haven't seen all the Godzilla movies, but I'm pretty damn sure THIS was never in any of them. It had to be something the creators made up. But what kind of sick f*** would put THIS in a children's game?
~ Zach describing Red.
You can't win Zachary. I've known you for a long time; I'll tell you a secret: I killed Melissa. Send your last monster, I will end this futile struggle.
~ Red to Zachary upon killing all of Zachary's monsters excluding Godzilla and Acacius.

Red is the main antagonist of NES Godzilla Creepypasta, and be a posthumous overarching antagonist in the sequel Godzilla Replay.

He is a demonic-like entity who possessed game NES Copy Godzilla:Monster of Monsters! He is also Zachary and Solomon's arch-nemesis.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • He tortured Melissa for years by causing her to experience episodes, then forcing her to commit suicide by running into oncoming traffic.
  • He imprisoned Melissa's soul, torturing her even after her death.
  • He slowly tortured Zach psychologically by changing aspects of the game, causing the game to glitch, or forcing Zach to flee in terror whenever Red appeared to chase his avatar.
  • During the game, Red would mention Melissa or show images related to Melissa the night she died all in order to torment Zach.
  • While his origins are currently left unknown, he still manages to display a clear personality, showcasing his sheer sadism derived from torturing and killing Melissa and trying to do the same with Zach. This shows that he is not a Generic Doomsday Villain and has clear moral agency.
  • It's heavily implied that he threatened to murder Face if he gives Zach access to Solomon since Face's last question on Extus was "Will you miss me?" after Zach answered "Yes" to his previous question, "Would you like a new monster (Solomon)?".
    • When Zach answered "Yes" to "Will you miss me?", Face broke down and bursts into tears, both knowing full well Red was going to follow up on the death threat since the next time we see him in Zenith, his eyes have been gouged out of their sockets and blood pours from his agape maw; and also because Zach pitied him during his last moments before he went back to the board and Red went to kill him offscreen.
  • In Zach's first battle with Red, he forced Zach to experience pain whenever he attacked Godzilla, and when Zach attempted to leave, Red paralyzed him and forced him to continue playing, and when Zach begged Red to let him go, he refused, calling him a worm and saying it was too late to run.
  • Red caused Zach to experience the pain of being burned alive two times when he engulfed Godzilla and Solomon in flames.
  • He consumed Mothra and Godzilla to taunt and hurt Zach.
  • He stomped on Solomon, crushing his bones and sadistically enjoying the pain he caused to both Solomon and Zach.
  • He shot scorching hot needles into Anguirus' face, again causing Zach to experience horrendous agony.
  • He took sadistic pleasure in the deaths of Zach's monsters and the pain he inflicted on all of them.
  • The memories and pain inflicted by Red left a deep psychological scar on Zach and caused him to have PTSD, but Zach is slowly recovering from it as in Godzilla Replay.
  • Since Cosbydaf is working on the currently-in-development NES Godzilla Creepypasta video game adaptation, the cave paintings in Blue Caves during the demo heavily imply that Red oppressed the native Blue Giants of Pathos at some point before Zach and the kaiju showed up to the planet by killing what could be their chieftain, who was represented by being larger and having a distinct green coloration in contrast to his blue subordinates.

Trivia[]

  • Red is one of the few Creepypasta monsters that is defeated by the protagonist (As Red has died after Melissa gave Zach the final fifth monster; Acacius) as most are victorious over them.
