The Red-Eyed Demon is one of two main antagonists (alongside Kenneth Phelps) in the 2016 video game Sally Face.
It is a cosmic entity of unknown origin, who seeks to conquer Earth with a single goal: destroy all life and devour it from the inside. It does so by possessing several human hosts, and particularly various residents in the rural American town of Nockfell, as well, with no regard to the lives it takes in its own conquest to reign over Earth.
Its arrival was orchestrated by a supernatural cult known as the Devourers of God, and would later attempt to take over Earth once Sal Fisher was executed by the authorities, which ended up killing 33% of Earth's population. However, after Kenneth's death, its defeat would soon follow at the hands of Ashley Campbell, Larry Johnson's ghost, and Sally Fisher's ghost, ending its reign of terror to Earth, once and for all.
What Makes it Pure Evil?[]
- It was responsible for the destruction of Jim Johnson's home world through the Plague of Shadows and devour it, as well as infecting his entire family, causing countless deaths. while Jim and his sister Evelyn managed to escape the demon by fleeing their Homeworld and travelled to earth, Evelyn was unknowingly infected with the plague and was caught in a fire on their spaceship and teleported to the parallel dimension of the Anderson apartments where she was helplessly consumed by the plague and suffered a fate worse than death.
- Made Luke Holmes' life a living hell, when it was able to trick him to murder his entire family, in a deceptive and remorseless way to reward him, but in reality would force him to give up his body to be used as a vessel for the Demon.
- It was able to deceive Larry Johnson into believing that it cast a curse on him, which triggered a series of unlucky events to him.
- Throughout its terror in Nockfell, it manipulated several of the residents in Addison's Apartments by controlling its hosts including Charley Mansfield, who manipulated him to murder Sandy Sanderson that led to his false imprisonment, and later Todd Morrison, who drove him insane via the Red-Eyes' effects.
- The Red-Eyed Demon's heinous plans later came into utter fruition, after Sal Fisher's execution, when the Red-Eyed Demon was able to destroy 33% of Earth's population through the Plague of Shadows and attempted to spread the Dark throughout the globe.
