I decided the world's fate when I came here twenty thousand years ago. However, your fate was delayed when I grew tired of your violence. But now it will resume!
~ Ra Moon revealing his true goals to Wily.

Ra Moon is the main antagonist of the video game, Super Adventure Rockman.

He is an ancient extraterrestrial supercomputer that crashed into Earth 20,000 years prior to the series and desired to destroy the Earth.

He is voiced by Norio Wakamoto, who also voiced M. Bison from the Street Fighter series and Cell from Dragon Ball Z.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • Upon crashing to Earth 20,000 years prior to the events of the game, Ra Moon sought to wipe out humanity by making them hate each other and cause wars that led to the extinction of humanity. It is also shown that he is the reason for humanity's evil in the series and therefore would indirectly result in events such as the Maverick and Elf Wars that resulted in the deaths of billions.
    • While it did stop this madness from happening, it was only because he was bored and not out of any remorse. He also completely destroyed the ancient Mayan civilization that once worshipped him as a god, killing all of them.
  • Three years prior to the events of the game, Ra Moon destroyed countless helicopters that roamed around his temple, killing people that were driving it in the process.
  • Created an invasive virus system that spread across the entire world, which affected humans and robots alike.
    • One of the victims was Roll, who was affected by the virus and went into a coma as a result.
  • While he did revive Wily's Robot Masters, it was to get Wily's trust and he was willing to betray him and was about to kill the Robot Masters again.
  • Gives Wily an EMP wave and manipulates the doctor about how destructive it is, although it is powerful, but not as destructive as what Ra Moon had described.
  • Betrayed Wily so he can destroy the entire Earth in an attempt to recreate it in his own image, which could've wiped out all of the robots and humans alike.
  • Created Ra Thor to attack Mega Man and Dr. Wily.
  • In the bad ending, Ra Moon ends up succeeding in his goals by destroying the world, as well as killing off Wily and the Robot Masters he once revived.
  • While one can argue he is made of evil, nothing implies Ra Moon has moral agency issues. Furthermore, he is shown to be manipulative and has an affable facade.
  • Despite the high Heinous Standards of the Mega Man franchise, Ra Moon stands out due to his cruel method of putting humanity to extinction.

Trivia[]

  • It is currently unknown if his Archie Comics counterpart will qualify as Pure Evil.
