RED also known as "The Hell Beast" and "The Red Creature" is the main antagonist of the Friday Night Funkin’ mod, Friday Night: Monster of Monsters' story mode which is based on the original NES Godzilla Creepypasta created by Cosbydaf.
Much like his original counterpart, he’s a demonic kaiju entity that resides inside a copy of the game Godzilla: Monster of Monsters! for the NES.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
In General[]
- While the concept of Godzilla rap-battling may be seen as a bit too silly and outlandish to be taken seriously, the mod keeps a consistent tone throughout all the story, outside of the non-canon joke song "Deus Ex Machina" which is based on the joke ending of the Creepypasta, all the songs, especially Redkiller, are played dead seriously, the mod also has the rap battling be a battle system and in-universe Zachary is playing an actual rythm game, meaning the mod takes itself seriously enough not to mention the dark tones of the song itself.
- Not to mention the mod creators wish to take RED seriously as RED won't appear in other songs until final song in Zanieth.

- Much like his original counterpart he mentally tormented Melissa for years, going to the point where one day he took posession of her body and committed suicide by running into the incoming traffic in front of her boyfriend Zachary, as shown in Redkiller.
- Even after her death Red continued to torture Melissa, taking a hold of her soul and imprisoning her soul inside the game to make her suffer.
- He mentally torments Zach through the game, altering the game & its elements, and chasing his monster like in the original Creepypasta.
Exclusive to Friday: Night Monster of Monsters[]
- Before the main events of the story, it is shown in the song “Redkiller” that at some point years ago Red invaded the planet Pathos and terrorized it’s inhabitants, erradicating all life form within the planet, including the animals and children.
- The cave paintings also show Red only chose to spare those who offered sacrifices to him and were willing to worship and serve him, while he ate everyone else alive.
- After Red’s massacre in Pathos, the planet was left desolated and without any life in it, leaving the very few survivors to grieve their loss while being forced to obey Red.
- It is shown in the mod several times how alone and empty the planet is, with Paramnesia and Grieving showing how there was no one left alive after Red’s attack with very few exceptions of those who offered sacrifices.
- In the intro of the mod it was heavily implied he was responsible for destroying the Xilien's Invasion force as the screen glitched and his face appeared where the ships and King Ghidorah seemingly disappeared, which explains why the Xiliens are absent.
- Unlike in the original Creepypasta, the monsters and Not-Monsters like Gezora and Moguera show sentience, expressing their immense dislike and pain for the lack of freedom they experience thanks to their new bodies which Red modificated for his own gains against their will.
- To be specific, Gezora began to painfully glitch before he desintegrated and was reformed as another being named Not-Gezora. Who much like the original Gezora also suffered for the modifications Red did to his body, experiencing a full on mental breakdown during Paramnesia that ends up melting his body.
- Moguera in the other hand is transformed into a Giant and once he’s defeated is transformed into Not-Moguera, who sings about how he feels trapped inside a cage and begs to be free, being nihilistic about his situation and saying how he starts to think there was never any option to be saved.
- His act of killing Melissa is shown onscreen, which makes it more worse since it was animated and we see it how it went down, with Zach trying to stop Melissa only for RED to have her push him away from her before running into the traffic and getting hit by a truck, with the animation showing Zach putting flowers on her grave.
- He makes him relive the night Melissa died by replaying that exact moment during "Redkiller" and chasing him for 3 whole minutes, leaving Zach terrorized after surviving their encounter.
Trivia[]
- This version of Red can be considered even worse than his original counterpart, as unlike him his massacre on Pathos is explicitly shown onscreen while in the game it was only implied, not only that but the monster enemies show sentience, meaning Red forcing them to take new forms against their will is an actual torture, while in the original Creepypasta they were just NPC’s. Not to mention he forced Pathos remaining inhabitants to do sacrifices, destroyed the Xilien's invasion force then took their monsters and his action of driving Melissa to suicide is animated where he made her push Zach away when he tried to stop making it more detailed than the Creepypasta.
